Not to be mean dude but the flames were a lot better. I wouldn't put Plasti dip on anything ever. Get er painted it will look a ton better.

I like the look of the plasti dip. Again I'd love to get it professionally painted. However this truck for me is a glorified home depot / dump run truck. Not much of a point to me to spend $3-4k on a good paint job for a truck I paid $4k for to begin with.

That's true. All in all it's yours man you make it like you want it. That's the way I look at it. I would want people telling me what to do with mine.

Wow 4k purchase price. Not bad. A real paint job and fix up that brake duct and you'll have a awesome budget truck.

 

Just a FYI. Not too many people think of these trucks as "glorified Home Depot/dump run trucks." They're getting rather rare and have a pretty sweet drive train. Not to mention they look badass. People aren't going to like the plasti dip idea either, its kind of sacralige here because its like shooting Kate upton with the Simpsons paint shotgun. I'm not trying to rag on you man, but there are others here that would lose their sh*t on you haha just a heads up, these trucks are very respected here.

I'm not saying these trucks are home depot trucks. I'm saying mine is. There are some gorgeous trucks on here, mine's not one of them and I'm fine with that.

 

I'd rather spend my money elsewhere then a truck I drive about a thousand miles a year. If it were a daily driver I would have bought a much nicer one.

Not a fan of it, but to be completely honest with you, that's a pretty even plasti-dip job. Most people that do that end up looking all spotty.
