Lowering Problem On Rear

I installed the 2" belltech lowering shackles last night and the driver side sits 1" lower then the passenger side. Both shackles were installed using the upper most hole. Truck sat at the same height before install...don't know what I did wrong

hmmmm. I have the same shackles on my truck, part #6400. my ride height in the rear was the same on both side's and the fuel tank does not really have an effect on my ride height. Maybe measure the shackle's to be sure, check that they are laying @ same angle?

Hopefully your into Big Girl's so that way when your rolling your ride will sit level! :yellow_loser:

Sometimes when installing shackles the bolts will get over tightened while the suspension is hanging. When the truck is sat back down on the ground the shackles are in a bind because the bolts are too tight and the shackles can't rotate to their normal working position. Loosen the bolts with the vehicle sitting on the ground and bounce on the rear bumper a couple of times. Then tighten the bolts to spec with the truck sitting on the ground.
