ralphie
i am fairly new to the club. it's a tremendous resource. i am sure this has been addressed in the past, but i have seen no definitive answer. i have an 03 and have excessive wind noise from the rear windows at speeds greater than 65 mph. i notice it more with a crosswind. the dealer says they have replaced some rear rear windows, but it doesn't sound like a sure fire fix. what have you done? thanks, ralphie. AUTOGUY
I had my right rear window replaced and it did not make it any better...It's a shame a $40,000.00 TRUCK HAS SUCH PROBLEMS.
slj
I've seen a post where the dealer replaced the entire window seal. I also had this noise several months ago. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the window latch to resolve. No questions asked, they covered it under warranty as they should!
deezel
it to the dealer and they replaced the window latch to resolve. The latch is plastic molded into the frame of the window. Not possible to replace only the latch... They probably replaced the whole window.
Black03SS_NJ
I have the same problem and I believe it is a combination of the rear window and misaligned front and rear door hinges. Took it in under warranty to have window replaced and doors realigned and the dealer blamed the whole problem on my "loud exhaust." They didn't even check the hinges to see what I was talking about. Good thing I took the time to bring it in...
