    I don't know how everyone else feels, but I think it is :icon_bs: and selfish to nominate yourself. Pick someone else, there are thousands of members on this forum, let one of your friends nominate you if you want to be TOTM that bad......

     

    yah ur right, i was thinkin the same thing but saw a few others do it so I jumped off the bridge with them.

    Theres no rules against it though right?

    Wow guys, I'm flattered.

    Didnt expect this many of you to like it that much.

    703CHEVY_BOYS had me laughin w/ the 6:30=hands down comment. :confused: took me a sec to get it. Sickest truck on the site is sayin alot man.

     

    The wheels are actually Boss 313's. Just had the polished lips powdercoated red.

     

    TOTM would be an honor. :thumbs:

     

    My lid has been resprayed and back on and I've already dropped off my bowtie and SS badges soo. . . .stay tuned.

    me and the mervz brothers are meeting up tuesday night - i was thinking we could all go over the the RIO for their buffet, i heard it was one of the best in town... quinster is around, I hung out with zippy today, he's down, so a few of us are meeting in the main hall - performance/hot rod - at around 1230 at the back featured vehicle section where my truck is at... if you can make it there - we will figure out the nights events...

     

    anyone??

     

    Im workin and wont get off until 3 so whatever you guys are doing after that I'm down for. The buffet sounds good

    yah, I actually checked out pics of your truck to see how low i wanted the red to be and ended up going about an inch above the door handle which is a little bit lower than what ive seen on silverados when i looked 2-tone pics up.

     

    I'll post more pics when i get my lid back on.

    That is sweet. I would say do the SS badges black on the top and the red on the sides so you can just see a red SS outline. I think that would maintain the clean look with just a bit of accentuation.

     

     

    thats exactly what i was thinking. My badges are already red so i think im gonna see if they can do just the very top black for me.

     

    I've had the wheels powdercoated red for some time now but i think they did a really good job color matching the paint. I'm waiting a week or 2 before i go get it wet-sanded and buffed.

     

    Thanks for the compliments guys, I thought it mightve been too much but its definitely growing on me.

    Sooo. . .I like being somewhat different although 2-toned vehicles is nothing new or original but i've done the "murdered out" look, then black with red lips, so now i figured id give the 2-toned look a shot. I actually had a nice 2 foot long scratch on my passenger side door that was gonna cost me $400 to fix/paint it when i inquired about getting the truck 2-toned the guy offered to do it all for $1000 so i couldnt pass that deal up. Removed the SS badges because i think it looks alot cleaner and didnt wanna have too much goin on.

     

    I almost went charcoal grey on top with the lips on the wheels to match but i didnt want any more downtime.

     

    lemme know whatcha guys think :smoker:

  20. Rear Sway Bar P/n?

    Hey guys I'm looking to get a rear sway bar and I've searched all through the forums and I'm still not 100% positive which rear sway bar fits a 2.5/3" mcgaughys Lowered 04' SS.

    Can you guys help me out with a part number for an addco or belltech sway bar?

    Will Addco 631 from summit work?
