I Don't know of any 350SS's period, they were just 350 Sport, not Super Sport.
Also, there is no GMC SS's, at least I've never heard of one, and no paper work has came through our dealer.
yea gmc made a serria gt but i think that was it gmc has never had ss.

Thx guys. I thought there was no such thing and i also searched for it on the net and only came up with 454ss, i have seen them with 350ss badges but always thought they where fake. So now i ahve some good info on it and am as u said going 2 "donk" him on the head and call him stupid.

I just have a quick question. i was talkin 2 a guy at school 2 day and he claims to have a 1993 silverado 350 ss. Now i thought that they onyl made the 454 ss and the new 6.0l ss, and i was wondering if someone would be able 2 tell me if there was such a thing is it just some fake decals or what thx.

Similar situation happened to me a week ago. Had a silver 06 Mustang GT (automatic I'm guessing) coming at me. We just pulled off the interstate headed toward town and I'm doing about 60-65. I'm constantly staring back at him to wait for the front end to come up a little. I see him coming so I hammered it. He come up beside me. We get to about 90-95 and I start pulling away. I had my speedometer buried past 120 and finally the truck hits the maxspeed and he comes pulling just a lil but not too much. I figured he gave up or hit the cutoff if stock mustangs have one. I dont know. Gave me my smile for the day.
Yea stock stangs gov at like 143 or some bullshit like that not bad for a ford

I posted this on the TBSS forum but I wanted to share with the Silverado guys, too!
Ok..so the kid with the rsx s-type is an acquiantance of mine and the kids in the ricer eclipse I did not know but my acquiantance did. All three cars had passengers in them, too. Well, they asked me if I wanted to race and without hesitation I said hells yea let's go! So we lined up on route 287 which is a major 3 lane highway and was going about 50mph, counted to three and gunned it. Who won you ask? I DID!!! YAY!!!
We did this a couple of times and every time I left the eclipse in the dust and the acura kept up with me pretty well. Then..on our way back home...the most classic, best thing happened. The ricer eclipse broke down! So all of us pulled over to the side of the highway to see what was wrong and to help the kid. Well...talk about jealousy...at some point in our conversation the eclipse kid has the nerve to say to me "Umm just because you have a super charged vehicle doesn't mean you can beat me" and threw a cigarette butt at me. What a moron because the SS isn't supercharged. Then he tells me I don't know much about cars because I simply told him to just ride the shoulder the rest of the way with his hazards on and he said he couldn't do that because his engine might blow. Well what was my response? I said "Well I'm sorry I don't drive things that are about to die on me." The kid was just plain ignorant and pissed because he got his ass handed to him on a silver platter by a girl. Oh well. I left with my friend and left the ricer eclipse dude stranded on the highway with his POS ricer. Serves him right. And for those of you wondering about the mods...the rsx is stock and the ricer had some mild stuff done like CAI and whatnot.

but not all ricers are that bad... my buddy has a gt4 (awd turbo celica) and his shit is fast as hell he handed me my ass... and he has respect for power like i say power is power doesnt really matter if it is from a 4 or an 8 speed is speed and nice kill gotta love that corvette motor in those ss tb's =)

actually because its black smoke means it probably WAS stock, with diesels, they come from the factory with a very rich fuel mixture so they usually do spew black smoke when they are factory or close to it. its when you add the banks kit like the six gun tuner or other related products that it re tunes and starts to equal out and then they DONT really let out black smoke. diesels that are tuned specifically for racing is a whole other story, so your buddy was probably telling the truth.
Thats actually the other way around i work for a dealership and they dont blow black unless they have bee tunned or there is something wrong with the emmissons control

easy 2 put ss badgein on whatever u want theres a few guys up here that have z71's that put the ss decal on them so really...
and what goes on in mexico stays in mexico doesnt come up 2 canada. lol
