So, I've decided to take on the challenge of changing the color of all the lights in the switches, a/c control and instrument panel. I'm just trying to figure out what color I should cjange them to in my black ss. Let me know what you guys think.

Today was the first time I want to Cars and Coffee. I was quite disappointed that there were not any SSs there. For those of you who do not know about it, it's a car show/meet n' greet that takes place every Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. While I was there, I saw everything from VW Buses, Gran Torino, Corvettes, New Camaros, Lamborghinis, Audi R8, and everything else. The truck is doing great, she's a trooper lol. I have to change the wheel bearings, they're starting to squeel.

I just thought about it, but my SSS has been all over the place, from Alaska to Florida, and Florida to Las Vegas. Just lookin to see how many SSS are in Vegas. Hit me up.

The cats are gone! I put two flowmaster 40 series on. Sounds mean! Thanks for the advice fellas

A couple more things, the knocking is really loud, loud enough it turns heads. Also, when driving the knocking stops when I get above 40 mph. Thanks for the info fireman.

The other day, while driving to work, I stopped to pay a toll and heard a loud "knocking" sound coming from underneath the truck when stopped and driving at low speeds. I pulled over and crawled around under the truck to see where the sound was coming from. I was freaking out, thinking it was rod bearings or somethings. When I got home and crawled under again, a found that there is something banging around inside the passenger cat. What the hell is causing this? If I remove the cats, will the truck run any differently until I get the PCM tuned?

Looks like I'm gonna have to go on the hunt for some SS owners.

I live in Orlando. I have seen several SSS and TBSS around here. If any of you are on here, let's get together. Once I get some people interested, we'll figure out a goot place and time to meet up, maybe a BBQ or something. I will also be posting an add on craigslist.com for Orlando SSs. Yesterday, I replaced the alternator. After I finished, I started the truck, when I looked at the stereo, it had the CD symbol flashing on the upper left corner of the display. Before I replaced the alternator I had 5 cds in the stereo, now it show that there aren't any in it. When I press the "load" button, nothing happens. When I press "eject" it says "NO DISC". WTF!!!? Anybody know what's wrong? or How to fix it? FYI, The stereo is stock.

I'm in the middle of replacing my alternator, but how in the hell do I get the belt off and back on? Is there a tensioner somewhere?

I just replaced the battery back in May. Must be the alternator. How much do they run?

I have recently noticed that my headlights (HIDs) and all other lights, inside and out are starting to flicker when I am parked or stopped. When I give her some gas, the flickering stops. I've also noticed that when I roll my window up, the lights dim as well. Does any body have any ideas that might be causing this?
