Bought new embems for the truck when I painted it, so I have a set of (3) SS Badges for anyone who want's 'em. They're in fine shape, but will require new adhesive tape or whatever you wish to reattach 'em. I used a layer of masking tape over the top when pulling them off, so the spacing is still correct- If you even care.
$40 shipped to anywhere in the US for the set of 3. I can take pics if you wish, but they look like OEM SS Emblems with masking tape over the top to preserve placement. The Front plate mount is Victory red, and perfect as well- Fresh painted with the truck, but filled the front bumper holes while I was at it. Plate mount $40 Shipped also. -

Yeah, Grille and badges going back on this week- Colorsanding and buffing first. Not a big fan of shaving the gate, as 1) I use it, and 2) I'm still kinda old skool.
I know ya'll thought I gave up, just been a bit busy. Project tow-pig is back underway. ;) -
Did I say a month? Well... OK, back to work on the truck today. Some assembly required. :teehee: Had to get started, G14 is 2 months away. ;)

^ Just an FYI to ya'll, the above P/N is good, and the price is reasonable, but GMpartsdirect wanted over $30 to ship it to my door- Went to the local dealer with the part # in hand, they had it on the shelf, and I paid $38 with tax.

Not sure, and worse yet, not sure when or where it happened. I so rarely drive the truck, but we took it to dinner, the mall, a movie after we got back from Vacation, and due to severe weather, I didn't notice the damage until the following morning when it cleared up. Regardless, I was WAY pissed, just buffed and laid about 10 coats of Zaino on it. ****ers even scratched up my (discontinued) Goodwrench Tag, and tried to pry off my Earnhardt Chev Emblem.
The Jambs are perfect, so I'm not messing with them- They too get the Z5 when the exterior does. ;)

Some assclown keyed it... And I mean, ALL OVER. Stock color, just takin' the time, it's gonna be RIGHT. May spray it tomorrow night.

No, not at all. Actually, the cladding is coming off, as well as the bed before final blocking and paint... It's just easier to move it around as one piece. The truck is fortunately really straight, so it should turn out slicker than new after colorsand and buff.
More updates tomorrow night. -

That does look good on his truck, but not too sure about on red... Does anyone offer smoothed trim for the mirrors, or am I gonna have to work mine?

Well, hooray for me- Due to circumstances beyond my control *insert rant* I'm having some paintwork done on the truck...Well, actually, pretty much ALL of the truck. Any ideas or suggestions I may have overlooked while it's under the knife? I'd really like to loose the textured mirror surrounds, anything simple available? Hit me with suggestions, I'm open to whatever.
