Having built some retarded stuff over the years myself, let me be the first to say that's about as cool as AIDS.
-
Where's the shop? I might do that. Depends on how the wife's feeling, she's getting her boobs done on Thursday so might have to stick around the house. I could always just bring the kids with me and let her rest
Mad Hatter on Tyndall Parkway, at Hwy 22. I got tricked into coming in Saturday, so I might try to strike up some activity.
-
Eh, 12 years here, I think I'm over Florida. Almost wish we hadn't just built a house. Lottery winning forthcoming, stay tuned.
-
Yup, miss it already. Lookout world, should I win the lottery. ;)
-
Dark arts? Hmmm, I'm an ATL native... Looks like it might be a GMFS truckfest at the shop Saturday, you might as well ride down and check it out.
-
lol, should I be scared or excited?
Perhaps a bit of both- There is a very fine line seperating my definition of wizadry from witchcraft.
-
Most LT Imps are beat down by now, but I'm here to tell you, my '96 will Rick Roll the truck from 100+. Out of the hole, the truck will work them a bit, as they're undergeared. Rest assurred, those land yachts cover some ground on the big end, 150+ is no sweat.
-
Meh, Turdras are no big deal. I've embarassed at least a half dozen 5.7s.
-
I might be able to rattle together some interest on GMFS, they talked about a SE meet once upon a time... The truck guys are more difficult to get rallied than the fbody and Vette Guys.
-
build date is 05/04
Ecxcellent... I can make your truck think it's Ricky's. ;)

*Whistling dixie*
Actually, I do not- Need one more, as so far, only mine, and Hypergas. But, depending on your production date...;) Alas, I have an idea.

Get this, My dad has a perfectly mint 66 Mustang coupe 289 auto. He said he would will it to me. I told him no...I hate fords. So he's gonna give it to my brother when he's gone. He's not a car guy and doesn't even have a garage. He's gonna just trash it.
That's how much I'm a chevy guy.
I couldn't do that, just because it was something of your fathers. On the flipside, my dad wouldn't have had a Ford to leave to me.

Anyone interested in getting together April 29th at the Atlanta Dragway for the Friday Night Drags? I figured we could all get together and participate in the car show. Check their website for details. Atlanta Dragway
This would be a great time and place for us to get together and meet up. We can drag at this event as well as enter the car show. Suggestions comments?? Let's get something going.
I could be able to make this one, although doubtful I'd bring the truck up- I'll bring the Imp out for some pre- Power Tour tweaks, if ya'll wouldn't shun me for lack of SSS in attendance.
-
Dallas, what the hell are you doing, stalking me?
-
I'm on LS1tech several times a day, but PT never really hooked me. No hate for it, as I understand the motivation behind it, but for my SSS fix, here it is.

How utterly retarded.
I want it. LOL
-
Yep, snow was nice- Although, not donut worthy as I posted last year- I behaved myself this time. Sad to report, we got back to Flawduh last night.
-
They're Gibsons, IIRC got 'em thru Summit. I'm still on the fence with them, at the time I felt they were the best to compliment the theme of the front ducts... I may change it up soon and tuck the pipes just prior to the bumper at the rear flanks '66-67 Chevelle SS style.
-
It's that time again, when I leave the sunshine state to go play in the snow a bit... The first few pics are in Murphy, NC where a friend offered us a spectacular cabin for tha free- Trouble was, Murphy SUCKS. So, after only one night, we rolled out thru Cherokee via 441 and into Gatlinburg where we scored yet another cabin (this one not so cheap, LOL) Regardless, the truck looks like hell in some of the pics, but rest assurred I washed it promptly after battling 441 and Newfound Gap and the snow. Here are a few just for ya'll (since the wife already remarked about how could I need any more pics of the "damn truck" haha) I have 3 more days before we head home, I'm sure there will be more. ;)
Sorry for the retarded sizes, my internet is spotty at best, I'll resize them asap.

For you guys running Silverstars, I have 'em all around the truck, including clear in the DRLs, which incidentally are modded to the all 6 on feature- I tend to manually turn off the DRLs during the day, but have had lots of problems with the DRL Silverstars burning out- WAY premature. Like, within a week or two. Anyone else? So far, the tails and turns have held up well, but the DRLs hate me.

Soooo, I drove the truck today for the first time in a few weeks, an magically, the second position blower speed is not working. As per every other GM product in recent memory, I assume this is a bad blower motor resistor, ya'll tell me you agree before I go grab a new one. I'm too lazy to check it.
-
Looks great man, wish I could convince myself to go lower.

The Gen-I Lightnings will be on Barrett-Jackson, because they are a game-changer that started the muscle truck wars. The early-90s SS trucks don't do that well because frankly they weren't all that innovative!
Mr. P.
They were a game changer alright- Proof that a SVT prepped 351 Ford couldn't keep up with a little AWD Sonoma with a garrett on it.

Yep, 420's. Best I can tell, they do fine in the semi-wet slush, they cleaned pretty well in the more chunky stuff. Like every Nitto I've owned (and let me say, that's a lot) they flatspot like a mofo when the truck sits, which is a few weeks at a time. Figure on literally 50 miles or better before they begin to smooth out.
