Bringing this post from the dead!!! I just recently remembered that I was a memeber of this FORUM, and that I hadn't posted in a while!!! I've recently had some bumps along the way. I got ran over a few months ago and sustained a broken foot while at work... I'm at the point of walking and have 3 screws in my foot, YAY me!! NOT... Anywho, enough about that BS in my endevors, i've done a bit more moding to my truck, Nothing to FANCY Just another Set of HIDs I'm now running the Previous owned 8000k Low Beams and now have 10000k Fogs!!! (they are stupid bright) I can literally run my fogs as normal lights and see as good as stockies!!! (pics coming soon just waiting for the snow to go so I can clean my truck and make her all PERTTTY!!!) I've also purchased some Aftermarket Tails and 3rd LED brake light! I've added WESTIN all Black Nerf Bars. And put in a new AIRFRESHNER!!! LOL. Again, I havent done anything crazy to the truck just some mild face lifting IMO!!! Anywho, i'm outty 5000 be back soon with new pics!!!

do you have any pictures of the lights on and working with the HI/LOW Diode, and with just Highs seperate with out lows on? I'd like to see what the difference is for the High beams. I've got Low beams, but am curious what the Highs look like for HIDs?

I did 3 coats, but I used VHTs Transparent Paint, I wanted a little more light than just the window. To be honest i dont even like that and ordered new OEM DRLs to put in i'll Sell the DRLs later if someone wants to buy them?

You have no idea!!! if only the movie people would understand!!! I'm sorry for your hardship, but if I had that last name, i'd definately be a badass and have the ability to back it up and then nobody would make fun of you, they would want you to be their body guard!!!

I will admit some of the theatrics seem a little over the top, but ITS RAMBO.... Rocky was good to for being what it was, they didnt play all the original songs like they did in the first ones. but over all it was good. I'll watch it just cause that was my Erra of knowing what movies are and being at an age that I cant start to appreciate a movie for its entertain ment!!! Of course you could say the same for Bruce Willis, though he never retired from movie making hes a bit Over The Hill, and the Die Hard series was definately a long time ago as well, yet here he is making "Live Free or Die Hard", its just the way the movie erra is going right now with making late time sequals to old time classic movie series. What i'd like to see is a new GHOST BUSTERS!!!!

Thank you, I like them alot. They definately are bright. Stock has bulbs are no longer in my future with any vehicle I own HIDs all the way. Spendy depends on how cheap you are. I dont think they are spendy at all since many places charge 200.00 + some even in the 1000.00. I like them and think they are outstanding. www.xenonlink.com I paid 125.99 Shipped but they've recently upped their price $10.00 now being 135.99 shipped for any Temp color. I've got a buddy that ordered a set of 8000ks for his Honda Prelude, a friend that is going to order the 10000ks for his SS, and i'm gonna get a set of 6000ks for my dads 2500 Duramax. I'll try to remember a month from now if not later!!! I think when i'm ready for High Beams i'll go with the 6000ks and then fog lights with 10000ks or even higher for the fogs!!! Only thing i'm concerned about is where i'm gonna mount them all!!! LOL.

I find my self most fervantly excited!!! LOL

Oh it wasnt Cheap, NO APC BS for me!!! I went with DGMotorsports.com they make Hand made products of great quality, its just being in Phoenix and having hot weather with a hot engine didnt help with the Clear Coat... I've seen it on many CF brands and products...

to be honest, if your gettin HIDs you wont be using your High Beams unless you have HIDs for them as well. I was driving on a back road with no street lights and that was where I was able to test the difference between my Lows and Highs and My highs point out just as far as my high beams and were 10 times as bright. I need to order some High beam lights but not to soon, cause I rarely use them. If anything i'll get fog lights first cause those are used more where i'm at than High beams!!! 8000k definately have a good amount of blue, but not to much like the 10000ks and a bit more than the 6000ks. I'll take some pics tonight after work and post them up for you all to see. That and because I also blacked out my AMBERS which i'm not so pleased with. To me it wasnt worth the time and money for how they turned out.

It would be cool, but for the cost of CF and where its at, wouldnt really be worth the cost. Not to mention that cause of the heat from the engine it will adventually begin to crack the clear coat of the CF. Plus its gets dirty under the hood all the time, which means excessive and needed cleaning. Again, not worth the money. Believe me I had CF stuff on my Mazda, it was a PITA!!!

i've got the 8000k and i'm loving the view with them. I think no matter what temp you get either way its better than STOCK!!!

why dont you just pull up behind a car or something and look for a reflection? instead of doing something rediclious?
