  1. i have the complete spoiler with the brackets and all the hardware to install. everything is brand new and i have all the hardware from gm and the brackets were made using the factory bracket as a template. i can have pics on here tomorrow. the spoiler is not painted, its black gel coat that has been sanded smooth. i will ship it to the 48 for $350. these go for over $900 from gm.

That's why they're folding.... if they sold them at a fair price, they could sell 10X as many - this by the way, is a fair price!

  2. I have no use for this gauge pod anymore because i changed the location of my gauges. It is painted with VHT charcoal gray. There is absolutly nothing wrong with it. Ill take $40 shipped no less. It also has the bose cutout.

i've had this cooler for a while now and never installed it because i was too lazy to find the fittings for it. it is brand new and it does not come with the fittings like i just said. i bought it for $90 but i will sell it for $60. i don't have a pic of it but i will see what i can do.

    here's a ebay picture of it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/B-M-70274-F...1QQcmdZViewItem

No fittings... but does it have any hardware at all? (I'm talking mounting straps, nuts/bolts, anything)

    Let me know...

  4. Brian (MoreGrip) suggested the TB/J-tube conversion first with around 30+ in gains and then the cam instal was around 80+ in gains total...

  5. LOL.. I think that sometimes.. I had all this for the SS but never got around to putting any of it on. Now I think i'm going to trade in on a new diesel so i'm getting rid of the stuff i'm not going to use.

  6. If you're looking for the Intimidator SS spoiler...good luck. Can't find these any where so far except the gm sponsor but it will cost you(around $630 or so). S&H is crazy high, like $120 or something stupid like that. Anybody got a link to some on-line junk yards?

I'm interested in these too, but will not pay that much for them. Somebody should make a "knock-off" by molding an original.

  7. When my Yank exploded, the first symptoms was that I had erratic lock/unlock however never threw a code. After about 2k miles, it wouldn't lock at all and finally disintegrated plugging up my tranny filter and starving the tranny of oil and burning it up. Not fun.

I am not saying yours is failing but just be cognizant of your converters behavior to possibly prevent major damage.

At the very end of my converter's life, I pulled the tranny dipstick and noticed very faint glitter in the fluid. At that time I knew it wasn't good. Keep in mind this was all within 2,000 miles of install. The converter performed well for the first 1000 miles.

    Keep us posted.

    Krambo,

Wow... 11.9's! So you worked it pretty hard, but nothing out of the ordinary, and the TC was built to run under those conditions.

What did Yank do to make it right? The reason I ask is that I just got a Yank TC, and was wondering how the customer service is?

  8. this is going to sound like a never n00bish question... but what exactly does a Torque converter do?

Seeing as how i'm about to do some tranny work.. i figured i should look into beefing mine up.. :)

Go to Yanks web site and read up on them... it's a very informative site. I also have purchased the Yank TT 2600, and it goes into the shop next week for the install & Vette servos. :driving:
