  1. Does anyone have a set of KMC XD Rockstar on there silverado ss. I like these rims especially in black, just don't know how they will look on a victory red ss. Every picture I seen of these wheels they have some type of beefy mud grappler on there. I would love to see a regular looking tire on them. So if anyone has pics or Photoshop skills that would be awesome.

  2. Just got my letter too. I got a question my trans temp gauage never moves, I was wondering if it is sticking or i don't drive my SSS hard enough, I do a lot of short trip driving so i am not sure if it warms up fast enough.Or is it like the engine temp gauage which warms up right away. This might be stupid question but I just want to make sure before i get this cluster replacement done.

  3. That sounds odd to me. I had a problem with my resistor blowing out 2 times in my blower motor. But your claiming it works fine when you put it in drive??

Exactly. Once I take it out of park the blower motor kicks right on. I 'm lost on this one.

  4. My 2003 SSS has the auto climate control. Now with weather getting cold I like getting in to a nice warmed up truck. So i fire SSS up let it run put the auto climate temp at 80*and walk away for few minutes. When i come back the heater has not kicked on or anything. But when i put the SSS in gear the heater fires right up. Is this normal??? And is there a way to override this?? So I can get into a nice warm SSS.

  5. As the title reads ,I got my 2003 Victory Red SSS with 46k on the clock. The truck is bone stock and has every option except onstar and xm radio that i know of.Bad ass truck pretty quick, lots of luxury features and has a lot room for my twins. Thats the reason why my Lightning went bye, bye. I for a quick question is the passenger side mirror suppose to auto dim with other mirrors??? Here are some pics.

  6. Make sure when you test drive it, you feel for the infamous "clunking" feel in the steering wheel from the intermediate steering shaft. You can feel it when you start to turn left or right going over some rough road. I got mine warrantied with the replacement shaft and it is working good so far. Is the truck stock?? or any mods?? Mine is a 04 black AWD. Love it!

    The truck is stock.
