    I personally love the sound of both Magnaflow and Corsa. Magnaflow has a little resonance... but not that much. All depends on what size muffler you get...

     

     

    I went to an exhaust shop to have my corsa installed today... anddddddd....... it wouldn't fit. :'( I took a chance on a slightly used Corsa Sport made for an '07...in hopes that it would fit... no such luck... :'( So if you're looking for a Corsa Sport.. PM me...

  5. WHO Makes the BEST Programmer for the NBS V-MAX?

    I know I posted a similar question in the VHO/VMAX forum but I figured alot of you guys might have missed it there so I am asking the same questions here.

     

    I am looking for the BEST Programmer available for my NBS 2007 GMC V-Max Crew Cab 4x4. My local 4x4 shop is pushing the Edge Evolution EEC 2200. Is that a decent unit? Any other suggestions? I don't want a hand held programmer. I like the look of it installed on the dash (or door post).

     

    I am probably going to do a cat back exhaust & maybe a CAI as well.

     

    I should probably say that my MAIN intention in doing performance mods is to improve the overall performance of the truck. I am NOT going to race it or anything along those lines. It is used as a tow vehicle & everyday "driver". I am NOT planning to spend alot of $$ on a custom tune either.

  15. Where is the LEAST EXPENSIVE Source for BORLA Cat Back's?

    I am pretty sure that Borla makes the General Motors "performance" exhaust system for the Silverado - i.e. if you go to the dealer and order the "GM Performance Exhaust Catback" for your truck it's got GM stamped on it but in reality is a Borla system. Check it out.

    You're right, they ARE Borla systems. I don't think GM has them available yet for my truck yet. I could be wrong though!! If you or anybody else knows what GM Part Number it would be I'll call me dealer ASAP. I'm more interested in the PERFORMANCE system vs. the touring version. Thanks!!

    Up FOR SALE is a BRAND NEW still in the box VOLANT Cat Back Exhaust System for the NBS GM 1/2 ton trucks... Volant P/N15253755. Fits Extended Cab & Crew Cab models with either a 5.3 Liter or 6.0 Liter engine & exits out the passenger side with one large tip. This exhaust is supposed to sound similar to a Corsa, Borla, etc. system @ approx HALF the cost.

     

    MSRP for this exhaust is $733.99. I am looking to get what I paid for it - $450 SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR!!!! Please check out volantperformance.com for more specifics on this exhaust.
