  1. I must agreed with above. I too have the Dynatech long tubes but cat-less intermediate pipes. I tried an O2 spacer for a while but after clearing codes every week a simple call to my tuner fixed all of it. Apparently its a pretty common and easy fix for those guys. For your cats, if you don't want to punch them out, Dynatech sells Cat-less intermediate pipes... try selling your cats on ebay or scrapping them? I know when I did mine, my local scrap guy gave me $100 for each cat... not bad

  2. I figured as much :/

My Mods? lol. I get asked that alot hahaha. Outside she looks bone stock, under the hood is a differnet story...

    My LQ9 now has:

    Kaetech heads and cam

    Bigger Injectors

    Electric Fans

    SLP 1.85 Rockers

    SLP 160 stat

    Lingenfelter intake manifold

    LS7 Z06 Throttle Body

    MSD Coil packs

Dynatech Headers and Cat-less intermediate pipes

    Magnaflow Catback

    Banks Cold Air Kit

And a Custom PCM tune by my local speed shop.

I dyno'd it before the "Final Tune" and it put down 409hp at the wheels with 93 octane. The truck really came alive after the tune about a year ago. I'm being conservative and going with 425... my tuner guy said it'll probably dyno somewhere in the 470-500 range on 100 octane. Im happy with the low 400ish on 93 smile.gif

  3. Hey guys,

My SS has been used as a work truck since I bought it in 06. Now that I'm in a better paying job, I can finally take care of the truck the way I want. Here's what I need:

    Front Passenger fender

    Front bumper cover

    Drivers door cladding

Rear passenger cladding (section above exhaust tip)

    Passenger full power mirror

    Rear bumper cover

    Low mileage front diff

I'm sure I'm probably forgetting something but I'll add to the list later. All of the components above have been damaged due to work and I'm embarrassed to drive it looking as it does. Its a black 03 SS, hopefully you guys can help me :pepsicheer:

  4. So, I was on Ebay lookin at SSS a couple weeks ago and stumbled across an 06 SS. At first it appeared to be a normal SS, but the interior pics showed a 60/40 leather bench seat!?!?!

I was confused right away... It had the full skirt kit, white gauge panel, correct oem bumpers, and engine pics revealed a vortec max. My next thought was AWD??? The listing showed 2wd and a TC button on the dash... I asked for a picture of the vin tag on the door. Its showed 20x8's!?!? (but couldnt you order chrome 20's in 06?)

We're captains chairs optional??? Could this be a Cloned Vortec Max?

(This may have been the best clone I have ever seen, I own an SS and I cant even tell if this one was real or not lol)

  5. I'll trade you my wheels... 2003 painted wheels, one has a slight curb mark in them, and the tires (coopers) are about 3 years old... I am in West Chester, Pa (30mi west of phila.)

    or...

Do you just want to trade rims... your current tires will mount right up to my rims :)

I work at a repair shop, I could swap the tires for you if you were to come up here to PA

  6. Hey Guys,

Lets start a SSS registry! How do we make it its own topic in the main menu? I figured it would consist of:

    1. Member Name and Actual Name

    2. Where you live

    3. Year

    4. Color

    5. 2wd or AWD

    6. Vin #

    7. Prod. date

    EX:

    Pacamaro - Tony D'Antonio

    West Chester, Pa

    2003 Silverado SS

    Black

    AWD

    2GCEK19NXXXXXXXXX

06/03??? not positive off the top of my head

When we get enough we can start putting them in order...

    You guys interested???

    Thanks,

    Pacamaro

I already have a few of my buddies SSS and I wanna get more. PM me or Email me your info [email protected]

  7. Hey Guys,

I was talkin to one of my buddies this weekend and he claims he saw a REAL 2003 Tahoe SS at a cruise night in New York. I don't know if chevy ever made it, but the guy had the full clading kit and everything... I was stunned when my buddy told me that. Does anyone know if this is a rumor or a fact? I'm interested in finding one if its true.

    Thanks,

    Pacamaro

  8. Hey Guys,

My buddy just bought an 05 SS and its got ugly 24's on it. He is looking for stock 20's for it. Chrome or painted, doesnt matter. We live in West Chester, Pa (20mi west of Philadelphia) and wanna get these ugly ghetto rims off ASAP!!! lol

    Thanks,

    Pacamaro

  9. Hey Guys,

My Dad loves my SS and now he wants one for himself. Here's what we're lookin for:

    ~NO RED ONES

    ~MUST have a sunroof

~Preferably AWD but will consider 2wd

    ~Rear disc brakes

    ~Under 70,000 miles

His lease on his car is up in August so we're hopin to find a nice SS before then.

    THANKS,

    PACAMARO

  10. Dependant upon the model (LT, RS, or SS) they begin in the low-mid $20's. I put down a $500 deposit on a fully loaded SS. Because my Dad is a GM employee and a Service Tech, he qualifies for a TSS Account (that means he pays 4% above the cost to build the vehicle becuase he is a certified ACDelco parts dealer) To answer your question though, YES, you will probably get a deal if you put down a deposit now.

  11. The rumor is WRONG! My Father works at a Chevy Dealer and I have already put down a deposit on a new Camaro SS. The Camaro goes into production February 16, 2009 and is projected to be in the dealers by mid spring. I can't wait!

    LS3 422 HP

    6 Speed

Front and Rear 4 piston Brembo Brakes

    20" Rims

    Lemans Blue with Hockey Stripes

ALL OF THIS FOR UNDER $30K (predicted to run Low 13's out of the box)

Let's see the Challenger beat that!
