  1. Isn't that the truth. I'm stunned sometimes when I hear what some folks fall for. Barnum had it right when he said there is a sucker born every minute. Which reminds me.....anybody out there want to buy my new book, " How to purchase and completely mod out a brank new SS for under $5,000?
  2. An understatement my good friend.
  3. Congrats on your new ride, Bill. You'll love it.

Did that so often I disconnected the heated seats. Living in Phx it's not something I would ever use anyway. Some day, when I sell it, I'll let the buyer know how to re-connect. ;)

    SS top speed?

Richard, Is your bowtie really black with a red border or is it a PS fixup? It looks fantastic. I hope that's the real thing.
  9. What problem? Viagra? Psst....................gimma a break, homie. You thirty somethings are just jealous you don't have our wisdom and worldly composure, that's all.
  10. Too late, rm. Now, where would you like me to start?
  11. Houston Control, we finally have cool seats in Phoenix. Over. Thanks, Michael.
  12. Michael (or anyone who has knowledge of those elect. connectors) I went out there is morning to disconnect that green connector under the drivers seat. No such luck. Even putting the seat in the forward most position there is very little room to work under the seat and I could not get the connector to separate. Generally there is some kind of "locking clip" that holds the male and female ends together but I could not see it. Any suggestions and getting them apart? Thanks
  13. Michael, Thanks. I'll disconnect the green "thingy" and test it out. I appreciate all your help, buddy. Zip-man, Thanks for the heads-up on any "fixs." I didn't know GM was aware that this was even a problem. I'll look for your follow-up on that. Thanks for taking the time to do that.
  14. Thanks, guys. Unfortunately disconnecting anything that will disable other functions like the memory seat are not worth it. I'd be losing more than I've gained. Michael, Thanks for the suggestion and picture (especially the picture). I found the green connector but so far have done nothing. Disconnecting it to disable both seats looks like a bo brainer. What concerned me was the statement: Unfortunately, I don't understand the statement "will set the DTC's in seat module computer." Will disabling that connector affect any other functions in the truck? Thanks Michael. Dale, I'm on my way. I like new wire cutters MUCH better than old ones. It'll be worth the drive.
