Plug and play, just get the radio unlocked at the dealer or by anyone who has a tech two and know how to use it. All the functions will remain. FYI, all of the gm truck radios can be programed to be/use any option in GM's inventory. Like upgrading to the LUX sound system, but that requires a LUX amp and some rewiring of the harness. All truck except the SD have the standard premium amp and is not compatible with the LUX setup
Edit: My gmc has the bose premium sound system and the single disc/tape head unit
sounds good, now I just gotta find me a 6-disc,,,thanx!

I've never seen a bose single cd player, only 6 disk. If your going to a 6 disk bose from a non-bose deck, replace everything to add the amp. That's if you have a center console. Not worth it.
yeah it has the console, steering wheel controls, On-star, Sat-Radio, & says Bose on the door pannels, with a Cingle disc / tape player,, here are some VERY crappy pics the took with a cell phone at night,,,

Just wanted to add Wheatley is in no way responsible for anything to do with this tune, & I have no idea if it will work for any vehical without being tuned for that vehical,,,,I'm selling this as a spare to be tuned by who ever you choose for you.

ok so I'm buying an 04 Z71 with a single Cd/tape player,,,the truck has on star and steering wheel controls,,I'd like to swap out the single disc for a factory 6-cd,,,,after having dealership program my vin# will everything else still work right?

ok, I have in black the lower tailgate molding from an SS, it has a couple scuff marks but I think it would easily buff out, 3M glue still needs to be removed from back side, $65.00 shipped
also have both the driver & passenger side heated seat switches from an 05 Silverado, $40.00 shipped (for the pair)
