  1. I did the brakes on mine last year, the rear is a dual piston caliper using a 12.9 in rotor. These are the same used on the Escalde and H2. The caliper part numbers are SLC651 and SLC650 from Advance Auto. I used Powerstop rear rotors AR-8645XPR and Hawk pads HB385Y-640 from Summit Racing. I didn't do the backing plates but GM should be able to get the correct ones from your vin

  2. i just bought some powerstop slotted/crossdrilled rotors and hawk lts pads for all four corners. Also got russel stainless lines. puttin them on the this weekend. based off my expirence in these parts on other vehicles in the past should stop way better and have very good durability.

  3. Ive been running the eagle gt 285/50/20 for the las 5 years with great luck. They are a very well rounded tire. They are good in dry, wet and snow. My last lasted me about 30k miles too. If you drive youre SSS everyday and in the winter like i do youll be happy.

    hey im new on here too but not new to the chevy trucks or ls engines. you should be able to find a sss in that price range. i just bought mine a month ago for 18k with 70k on it. and yes i got a black one.
