    Alots happened since I was on here last

     

    Last saturday at my Moms House, My mom and her husband got home from grocery shopping and were bring grocerys up from there garage into the house via a elevator my grandfather built when he built the house, when they got to the top the elevator broke and dropped them 12ft. Shattered my moms foot and shattered her husbands arm, tehy will both be laid up for a while. My mom has surgery on monday. They almost had to amputate Lances arm, he was in surgery for almost 4 hours at York Hospital.

     

    Also Last saturday before all that happened my cats were plugging up bad, I brought the SS to Tune & Lube on Rt.1 in Saugas Mass. the charged me $383. to cut a hole in my cats, gut them out and weld em back up, took em almost 4 hours to do it. So today I went to Lous Custom Exauhst in Lawrence Mass. Got some Magnaflow cats for $435. installed and it only took them about a half hour.

     

    i had withdrawals as well.. checked atleast 2 or 3 times a day to see if it was back up and running... And DAMN dude for the prices u payed to get ur cats fixed u coulda had a set of headers and custom exhaust installed...

    PB Blast the exhaust mani bolts before trying to take em out.. take your time and dont get too pissed off. Headers should slide right in from the bottom, a sawzall and some high jack stands will come in handy if you dont have a lift. Where did u pick up the volant?

    LT's are the only way to go if your buying headers.. Shorties are for looks only and little to no performance gains. Depending where your located see if one of the vendors can do a street tune for your truck or if your too far away their mail order tune works great too. I'd go Wheatley.... And there is no turning it up or down. They can tune the truck and give you more power while still keeping it reliable.

    I dont know you Rob, but i can honestly say my prayers are with you and your friends and her family. I can only imagine the amount of pain and anger that can come over someone in a situation like this. Keep your head up, were all here for you, as well as your family and friends. These people are your backbone and this is exactly what they are here for. If you need anything, or just someone to vent to shoot me a pm.

  20. Cheap Headers Dayummmmmm!

    Just installed these headers, didnt break any bolts in the block thank God. With 115k on the clock i was worried, but PB Blaster did the trick. Got some boot sleeves for the plug wires and were ready to rock.. Install went smoothly, sawzall came in very handy and they fit perfect.

    From minnesota +1 cheers.gif yeah not a lot of sss's here in mn. Def turn heads in these trucks around here . I am from blaine well, actually circle pines but not a lot of people know where it is.

     

     

     

    I know right where both of those are. I live in Stillwater, not too far from ya.
