  1. My Old Truck Smoked A Hemi

    ok so yesterday i was driving my old truck, (my buddy onwns it now). its got underdrive pulleys, CAI, 204/210 cam 112 lsa, 42lb injectors, exhaust, 373 gears, shift kit, and a little hand held. well anyways since my truck is down i wanted to go drive it cause i missed it. lol

     

    well we pulled out of the neighborhood and being a rcsb with about 400lbs of REAL weight reduction, i was going about 10mph and romped it, started going sideways and couldnt hook. :cool: then we get to this light and this red hemi quad cab sport pulls next to us and started being gay.... light changes and he gets a jump cause we spun and then it hooked.. he said he let off but we started pulling on him bad.

     

    decided he could have my other HEMI EATER sticker. sorry for the rant. lol

  2. This Is So Weak I Hate To Admit It

    On the way home tonight, there is this CRX loaded with a driveway paintjob, big wheels, slammed and of course the obligatory fart can exhaust. I could tell by the way he was driving that he was itchin to run. he accelerated hard from a lught with me behind him, but laid off and I had to pass him to maintain my speed. Of course I'm checking out this bad ass ride, lol and he blipped the throttle..... well I hamered it to let him know what a 4" Corsa sounds like, ripped him 70-90 then backed out, thinking it was over. As I settled back in at 70 he slides up beside me. I told myself that that was enough, don't waste your gas, but when he lit off the fart cannon I couldn't resist, I had let him jump out ahead then buried the accelerator to pulled past him hard to 120. Had to make myself turn off, he prolly would have kept going all night, pitiful, but still kinda fun. :D

  3. Whats Factory Top Speed On 07-08 V-max?

    I know a guy with an 07 or 08 2wd V-Max who says his truck stops pulling at 95mph,,,,I thought that was odd since the 5.3's don't stop pulling till 100mph,,,,the guy is just 16 and his dad bought him the truck,, I was thinking maybe his dad had used a handheld to make it not go over 95mph? but then again if I was to go to all that trouble I'd have stopped it at like 75mph for a 16yr old,,,,,anyways so what is the top speed on those from the factory?

     

    mine cuts out at 95

    As you guys know the site has been really slow the last couple of weeks. Well we think we finally figured it out. The problems were because of a hard drive beginning to fail. We had it swapped out for a new one and it seems to have done the trick.

     

    At its worst, the site was taking 13 seconds to load. It now takes less then 4 seconds.

     

    But what matters is that the site is faster for you... so.. let me know how things are on your end! Does it seem back to normal?
