truxedo truxport bed cover says won't fit over spray on over-the-rail bed liners... why? does anyone here recommend a good tonneau cover?
-
You'll probably need one that mounts between the bed rails instead of on top because of the seals they use. Not 100% sure on that though. Ill check out my buddies and check back. I'm pretty sure he has spray on with his
-
spoke with truxedo and they said the front seal is why they don't recommend it with spray on over the rail bed liners. but with the truxport, the seal can be applied to the liner itself rather than the bed, so it should be ok... the seal doesn't stick to the spray on liner.

I am a member of like 15 forums, and most people are dicks, this site is definitely one of the best.

yep, this is the only forum for me I am still apart of. I joined the LX forum and the people seem to be pretty nice and helpful, not really any haters. I deactivated my FB completely, never even started an Instagay. It's just poison for my mind and soul social media.

I love this sight.. I am a member on a colorado forum and those guys are lost... Especially when it comes to performance... They all praising how good box tuners are LMAO like hypertech

anybody have an 07 Tahoe as a second vehicle? Looking at an LTZ, hate my Acadia. Thoughts?

I've had the Acadia for maybe a week now and it's been one thing after the next. Dropped it off at the stealership on my way to the airport today. Hope to go home with something different when I get back. I've read problems with oil consumption on the 5.3?
-
Well thats really with any LS engine, they all really need a oil can.
As for the GM crossover your right they are all junk shit to me, but we have over 105,000 miles on it and havent had no big issues that weren't covered on the warrenty.

I have an '09 and I love it. If you can find an '09+ with the 6L80E, you will be better off than the '07-'08 with the 4L70E. The only thing I don't care for is the DOD, the transitions aren't so great sometimes, and getting on it from cruising speed can be tricky (lag). Easy fix, have someone with HP Tuners disable the DOD or get the $150 Range Technologies ODB module that locks out DOD like I did. Oil consumption is less with the DOD disabled.

I'd take 13k for my 03 w/95k if somebody offered it (not that I want to get rid of my truck or anything). Florida truck it's whole life, looks new underneath it.
-
I don't need 13k bad enough to even think about it right now. Could change any day, I guess.
-
to me, it looks like the front end has just been touched up from an accident. the gas cover has some white rash still from something. I got mine for 14k with only 78k so not sure what this dude has going on with it. I have his #

I went with blue, (Black truck) a year + ago. The new has worn off and I am wishing that I'd gone with white.

I'm highly considering GM Gauge Guys and was leaning more towards white. I'll make a post once I pull the trigger, thanks guys! Happy Father's Day!!

trying to decide whether to rebuild my 229k front dif or buy a newer used front dif w/90k for $800...or just buy a new one for $$$$ :/

Stealership quoted 'anywhere around $2500' for a rebuild, u-joints on the drive shaft, and new front seal/bearing of the transfer case. trying to find a reputable shop with time and no bs
-
Sounds high even though your talking about extra stuff that I didn't need. Mine may have been a buddy price, but not a "Great Buddy price". Good luck on your search for a good shop.

thanks

door speaker going out and buttons falling off radio... where to start?!
-
Aftermarket my friend. Pick up a double din aftermarket headunit and some new speakers. Sonic Electronix is a good place to start.
-
thanks for the tip. i've been on crutchfield looking around. my main thing is a clean look and keeping my xm radio.
-
Double din head dvd seems to be a great trend, and looks great. I actually purchased an Alpine CD player this year that is double din. It is very clean.
