whats going guys to start i need more power im trying to get into the 13's but with what i got right now i cant .... i do a 14.2 now but thats the best i can do right now i got a bbk 80mm throttle body ,tb spacer, 77 series k&n intake, jba shorty headers, hp tune, no cats and flowmasters and a msd 2 step what i need to know is what is some bolt on's that i can do to get 13's i know i need a stall, long tubes,.... what else is left i dont want to go nitrous just yet so whats left???

i saw a guy with a 4x4 tie his truck to a concreat light pole with a chain in the middle of a parking lot with wet pavment once... its an option if its that important to u... I wouldnt do it but u can... Oh and make sure u get video and post it...

smokin all 4 is possible. I know Matt and Chase have done it, as have Lamana and I. You can't power brake it and do a standing burnout, but with enough power you can gun it and light all 4 up. Other than that, it isnt gonna happen for you. Sorry.
yes it can be done but very expensive i have a 69 firebird that i am in the middle of putting a motor and trans in and i just put disc brakes on so the 12 sec na build up is on hold for now but thanks

The all wheel drive is mechanical, you have to diconnect the front drive shaft to get it 2 wheel drive, I would NOT recomend that. It will cause permanent damage.Some people have talked about making there trucks 2 wheel drive, I don't know if it's been done yet. Try the search tag top right of the screen see what you come up with. I'm on a quest to smoke all 4 of my tires.....I'm sure it will be very expensive, but well worth it
i pulled the drive shaft that does not work i lost almost half of the power so idk what to do but thanks for the reply

my truck is a all wheel drive truck and i got a bunch of bolt ons but i dont have the power to do all wheel drive burnouts so my question is . is there a way to make a all wheel drive truck ,2 wheel drive with maybe a switch or something simple like that? i do like to all wheel drive because of the handling but when you cant do the somkey burnouts like the other guy can it kinda sucks
i dont want to lose it at all times but if there is a way to were i can do it with some wiring and a switch someone plz let me know thanks guys

You might want to look into a good set of heads and a custom cam too if that is your goal.
o yeah i will yeah im going to sometime next year dont have the money right now but hope to be soon to come

If you want to run the FAST-102:
1) install the FAST-102 intake & TB
2) iron-out any accessory drive issues (you might only need the newest Gen-IV water pump)
3) get the pedal & cruise control cables, PCM, & cruise control module from a 2004+ GM van
4) do a segment swap in PCM for 4L60
5) performance tune PCM.
...basically speaking. It's a couple grand and some legwork but I'm sure it's doable and you're right it would be pretty badass.

yeah but idk i mite just go with the intake and a 90mm ls2 tb or something like that . really what i am trying to do is get one of the fastest 1/4 mile times ON ALL ENGINE AND STOCK ROTATING ASSEMBLY so that means no gas and no forsed induction

Replace the operating system in your PCM with one from the recent GM van, it still uses a cable-actuated throttle body.

yeah idk what im going to do i just wanted to use that 102mm throttle body from F.A.S.T. but its cable and i want to use the f.a.s.t truck intake they make its bad i mite just use the 80mm i got now or a 90mm i should have got it anyways

Plus you can pick up a stock TB from here fairly cheap... just get one from someone that has done the 90mm upgrade

New peddle, lots of drilling for a cable, tune, fabricate your own idle air control, fabricate cable mounts and guides, fabricate adapters to put a cable throttle on your manifold if they dont already have it and numerous o\\, cable throttle body on a SSS would be like converting it to gearbox manual steering, carbureted (with a manual choke of course), kingpins, 700R4...or no, why overdrive? TH350, etc etc you get the idea.
o the heck with that lol yeah that would be a lot of work lol i did fix it it was nothin to fix but why i wanted to do something like that is because i wanted to get the F.A.S.T. truck style intake and that 102mm throttle body but it is a cabe driven so i dont really know what to do got any ideas? -
yeah i got it to my truck is a 2005 silverado SS awd with the 6.0 and i have 3 other trucks that have had the same problem a 2006 gmc 1500 4x4 with the 5.3 and a 2005 chevy silverado 4x4 with a 5.3 and a 2003 chevy silverado with a 5.3

okay today my truck whent into "limp" mode because of my throttle body and now i got the bright idea to change my truck to a cable drive throttle body insted of the drive by wire .... can that be done? and what would that involve doing ? i know i need to get a cable and throttle body but what about the pcm and stuff ?what would i have to do to make the truck run right with a cable throttly body?thanks for the help

yes they are missing i got about 100 to pay on them and i'll have them .they were gone when i got the truck

yes they are missing i am like broke as shit right now and when i got the truck they were gone i've ordered some but i do not have them payed off yet from chevy they are almost 400 and i got about 100 left to pay on them so i should have them soon -

okay i have a really dumb question but i am haven a hard time finding these i want some LONG tube headers for my AWD SSS and all i can find is shorty headers and 2wd headers were can i find some and what is the product number if you have it thanks for the help guys!!!

black 2005 silverado SS awd 125000 mi. loaded out power memory heated seats, sunroof, buttons on steering wheel, 6 disc factory cd player, has over 3000 accessories! . k&n cold air intake, bbk 80mm throttle body, jba shorty headers, custom pcm tune, flowmaster mufflers, 3" cowl hood, (factory hood goes with it) halo ring headlights (factory headlights go with it ) LLOYD custom floor matts lowered 2" front and back and tinted taillights . great truck oil changed every 3000 mi. using only mobile 1 oil and wix filter or acdelco. just put a 300 $ hub assembly on the front left the only reason im selling the truck is because i have had it 2 years and im tired of it all i want is payoff for the truck nothing more i'll take the hit for the accessories . will be happy to answer any questions you have just call 256-302-5839 or for more pics i can email them [email protected] .
