  1. Doubling your boost from your 5 to10psi will give you about the same RWHP and kick in the pants as a 100 shot. Your engine will be totally fine at 10psi and your 2.3 whipple can surely pump out 10psi on a 408.

Are your running the W140R or the W140AX?

EDIT: What injectors are you running? That may be a limiting factor here as your sig states "43#"

    I'm about 5/7psi of boost now. It's a w140ax and yea I got vortech 43# injectors.

Don't get it wrong the truck now feels really good down low but up top feels it could be better.

I don't have any cooling goin on and that's why I was gonna go meth and hit nitrous up top.

So u think I could spin this charger to 10psi? The only thng is can't find pulleys for

this charger and what size brings me to that.

  2. Alright guys I wanna go more on my truck and get more of a top end. Kinda don't know what setup to get and do.

What kit do get? I'm looking to to 100 150 shot.

My setup as of now is forged LME 408ci and 317 heads w upgraded valvetrain, whipple 2.3 charger, 10:5.1 compression.

Or get a meth kit also? I just need mo powa.

  3. Cfreash where in Alaska are you?

I'd go with rim #2. I seen kmc slides on 2 SSS with them in anchorage.

Lol don't get the tbss reps cause I have them in garage just waiting for tires haha.

I need to sell my eagle alloy #026 to get tires. You could buy these lol.

  4. If your coolant gauge is bouncing around, you can have a bad sensor, or loose-broken wire or connector. This would tell the pcm that your coolant temp needs to raise and dumps more fuel to the engine.

If it's bogging down after or during the time the gauge dips this is more than likely the problem. If it's running in open loop then switching to closed loop your O2's are having a hard time controlling the fuel.

So if your sensor is bad, or the connector or wiring is bad it would keep going from open to closed loop. Check the sensor wires on the back side of the alt bracket next to the #2 exhaust port.

Yea got it all figured out now. This was the problem and it was a new Faulty sensor too, so it got replaced again.

Truck is running like a champ now. It bucks up and goes in a hurry.

    It's a tq beast now

  5. Well got my new setup up and running but there is this bogging going on. Well when I start up it will idle and warm for a bit then dies. As I hold the pedal to warm up a bit to operating temp and it would okay. But as I drive and keep it steady for periods or at cruIsing it all off a

sudden bogs but it recovers at higher speeds and if low speeds it would die out but it would start back up.

Anyone experience this before. Any thoughts? Any sensors can cause this?

  6. Alright I'm installing my new 408 in and I'm thinking of leaving the whipple off now. (side mount)

So do I just leave off the charger and bracket off and swap out belt for a short one and get a new intake tube.

Will that be it? My whipple tronics is not hooked up.

And my cam is for the charger will it be fine and make power still?
