I had my MPH gauge stuck past 120mph, and it never fluctuated when starting. I had my cluster replaced, then went to fill up and the gas gauge did not work at all. Again when starting the needle never moved with the fuel gauge. Had the cluster again swapped and perfect.
I am not trying to diagnose, but just passing on info of what my cluster issue was like vs it possibly being a bumped plug like you mentioned. Hope you nail down what the issue is.

I think your safe as long as the atf fluid is not rated for 10 year/100k like the coolant is. But fresh liquids are always good.
I am no mechanic, but am in a similar situation. Only added 13k miles since my last flush, but it sat awhile. I will be doing the tranny flush as condensation build up is a major concern and not risking any failure. Then again new atf fluids means more detergent in the tranny
That truck seriously looks new sir

S-2000 will be a fun DD as long as you don't need to carry ANYTHING with you. I thought about buying one a few years back, nice cars.
Agreed, very good DD cars. My buddy traded his WRX STI for a new S2000, and wow. After being modded, grey paint and red rims, I absolutely loved that car.
Those have the v-tech's correct? (double cammed)? My buddy was talking to me about it having the two cams, not sure if it was custom or stock.

Welcome back man! I have to check out your build to see the progress, I just remember certain parts like the exhaust but knew you had something good going on. Glad to see you back.

Any pictures?

Thank you sir, I am very busy the next two weeks with a surgery and have plans to look at a couple houses in FL so their is no hurry. Looking forward to see the pictures
-
Was this daily driven during your ownership (Im guessing the 2500hd was the winter vehicle)? Also was SS garaged?
Undercarriage pictures please. I also like your choice of mods, was going to do the same.
The one thing that is seriously holding me back is a certain company needs a completely stock SSS to create a new cat back and I have been in talks with them for about 6months. If I sell I would be throwing a chance of a lifetime out the window.

Welcome back Will, I was looking at houses in Winchendon and currently looking at properties to rent while building.

I may need to see this in person. Have buyers waiting on my truck even though I have no plans of selling it (unless its for a DEI SS).
What happened to the tranny? And did you put some servo's etc to build the stock one stronger?

Here was a recent topic and this person did go with the DJM sways, however he does not have a Corsa. Just some food for thought and hope this helps in anyway sir.

Keep up the great work Mark. I would love to see this tear down the track when its ready

Grab that truck. Arrival Blue 2004 SSS' were the most rare color besides the Onyx Black 2007 SSS.

So many people left the game early, I bet they are kicking themselves today!
Q: Why do they keep the Stanley Cup at the Hall of Fame?
A: So Toronto fans can see what it looks like
I fell asleep in the 1st period after we scored (damn surgery pain meds). Woke up in the 3rd period and I was laughing the season is over, wow I was wrong
Phil Kessel also gets a nice look at it.
GO Canucks GO........ wait nvm
Think Luongo is gone and it's Schneider's job? Heard he was going to Toronto last offseason (if this current season did not work out well).

Theirs one RSR over the next town from me, Ive only see it on the road twice (when I drove by it in my truck back in 06-08, and when it was at the town beach parked).
My friends gf's father also had one. The father's son flipped it and totaled it when he was 18.....

Yes indeed, I did not count the practice holes, got me their!
Ference for sure gave up the breakaway, I was just watching some replays the D did not help. The Bruins need to close out on Sunday, I don't want another "lucky bounce" game 7 like we had against Montreal.

Negative it's not 36 holes!!! I worked there years back. It's around 42 or so!!
Its two 18 hole courses (Oaks and Pines courses, and one is now public so only 18 holes of private golf now). Twin Springs is the other 9 hole course but not considered part of IGC (even though they have IGC workers their). What years did you work their? I was their 2005+. Did you know Mike Z? I was doing horticulture and mowing greens.
My friend was in charge of the maintenance dept. Place is going downhill quick after the original owner passed and his son is driving it into the ground like a jackhammer, its really sad.
What in the world is wrong with Tuuka? He can make brilliant saves, but simple ones? His new nickname should be "softy."

I KNEW IT!
If your posting about me, I will tell you the truth right now. I've been purposely feeding lies to a member to see who they talk to, and how far these lies reach, and it seems they got to you. Yes I did post It's possible of me moving their, but I will be staying here also.
If I am wrong on this topic I am very sorry, but you also mentioned in another thread about me moving so I only can question your response. Please PM me Jeff we do not have to argue but its quite fascinating how much attention I have gotten just from a possible move.
Mark, I am truely sorry to post this in your thread I feel like a dirtbag, but some things have to be clarified because it's disgusting how rumors fly. You will have a blast in Sarasota. If I am down their at the same time I will contact you on another site.

That truck is mean man. Glad to see you are just considering, Ive been contemplating a DMaxx for plowing in MA and the SS for FL cruising. If you have pictures of your gauges from Fast4Popper that may help as they are not a catalog order, just custom from the man himself. That SS emblem on the windshield has always caught my attention on your truck specifically. If you happen to have a part number for the graphics please PM me. I saw a Victory Red SS with that on the rear windy and it looked mean. Would like to put one on my rear windy but have it ghosted to the tints.

How many miles sir? Just asking to help possible buyers. Sad to see you considering selling the truck, you haven't been on in awhile. GLWS.

Personally I would only go with stock wires, they fit the best on stock applications imo. But everyone has their personal choice.
Iridium Plugs, intake filter, throw some Lucas fuel treatment in the gas tank, have all belts checked, grease the chassis, fresh oil/filter, change from oxygen to nitrogen in your tires (if you have not already), lube the window jams. Im sure I forgot a few things but this is the normal tune up for me at my dealership.
edit - may want to due a fuel induction service to clear out the fuel system. Not that is has been sitting but may help clean out the injectors and other junk in the fuel lines after 94k miles. You will be needing coolant in 6k miles so you may want to think of flushing that, make sure you check the thermostat to make sure nothing has accumulated their (which I doubt anything has).

or he ran out of gas

try to go OEM, that is your best bet otherwise at the dealership. Not easy to find these anymore. Supply your vin and you good.
Also, you converted your awd to 2wd? Just wondering how you like it now compared to the awd...GL with finding the ducts!

Thanks everyone
It'll be awhile before I will get my hands on an ss but I most likely get a iss or just a 06 ss unless gm does make a new ss these next few years.
If you were serious now, I would be willing to give you the name and number of someone who has an 07 fully loaded (he is a service manager at a chevy dealer). More rare than the DEI SS, just no Intimidator badges. If you want to chat more about it just PM me

Krejci, your shattering Toronto's dreams, you crazy fellow Czech!
Only watch hockey to see fights besides that its like watching golf.
its the only major sport that allows the players to finish things off the correct way if theirs a mixup. Instead of all talk its put up or shut up
Don't be bashing golf! Shit is awesome! =)
Never bash on golf, most relaxing sport. Looking forward to a newer 48 hole course in my new backyard (the one currently behind my house is going down the crappah and only 36 holes, but 100 grand a year membership).
Audio Guru's...I need your help.

Was the unit installed before or after the floods in VT? Also did you replace the speakers/wires from the damage? I cannot remember the extent of the damage done.
