Only 15,000 miles for 14k? If I wanted a red truck I'd be all over it. Shouldn't have any problems selling it if that's what you're trying to do.

He was up a couple of weeks ago, I need some warranty work on my cluster. He responded but I have yet to return it as I hate driving without the cluster but the right lower has dimmed out again.

2003 with about 153,000+/- now. No wreck, no bondo. Bought new, daily driver, still stock except for wheels (stolen) and radio (broken). IIRC, alternator, brakes, brake lines, throttle body, wiper motor and one side mirror heater failure.Just changed plugs and wires this month (for the first time). Driver's seat bolster / arm rest was getting a little crushed so I had new leather and carpet installed early this year. New Bilstein shocks installed this week. About 14-15 mpg in town, 17 highway under 65 mph and 14.3 mpg over 65. After all this time I am considering, maybe, perhaps selling to get a new ride. In S. Texas the inter web estimates about $13k for it.

The morning it happened I called 911 at 0600. The dispatcher told me to to call back after 0730 unless I had the person at gun point or they were bleeding or dead in the driveway.

I lost 1 center cap and the others didn't look so hot so I went down to the dealer to get a price for 03 grey center caps they wanted $133.00 a piece for that price I can get a new set of rims for a couple hundred more sucks.
So then I got some replicas from eBay the color was so far off from the stock center caps and looked like crap so right back to eBay those went.
I'm thinking of just getting chrome SS rims there easy to get center caps for and I've been looking for a year for oem gray center caps with no luck.
hope things turn around for ya sucks to hear things like this happen.
They should make a shoot to kill law for theives they might think twice if there life is on the line.
That is allowed here. I just invested in a slew of high definition cameras, motion sensors, dvr etc. Unfortunately my truck will not fit in the wife's garage and mine is so full of tools that I can't get in it so the truck sits outside.

Who knows, smallish town and I think there are 2 other SSs in town with mine being the only '03 but...
If anyone needs a single and wants to make an offer that's agreeable otherwise I'll hang it out and fashion a target for my .45 ACP practice (kidding)

Man, that sucks. You really can't put a price on something that you can't replace. Well, I hope you can just put it behind you, because I know I would be one pissed off guy for quite some time.

No they don't and that was my point to the insurance folks.

I had several conversations with my insurance broker. Truck is (was) 100% stock except for tires obvisously as they wear out. I wanted 100% stock OEM wheels as a replacment and they could not provide that. Search Epray, etc and find some stock, unmolested 2003 wheels. Oh I see replicas, chromed, this and that but find 2003 OEM grey...
We settled on the $700 per, your mileage may vary!
In my burg of a township, we don't have many choices to pick up TODAY so I got what I could live with and NO they did not cost $700 per but it did cover the deductible. Since I was not made whole by the insurance I held out until I felt I could accept the offer. The good hands people didn't have to pay the total cost and I got after market wheels (now not covered by the policy since they are not OEM) and new rubber.

I see shipping via Greyhound bus (best I have found for my stereo / electronics shipping) with a package 36" at largest size and (a guess of) 50 lbs to both of the above zips serviced by Greyhound (Mason City and Bangor) would be ~ $75.00. UPS estimates are ridiculious for 36 x 36 x 14 @ $300 value. Does $300 for tire, wheel and 4 faded centers plus shipping sound reasonable?
Yes, I listed it at $200 on the local Craigslist to see if I could find the owner of 3 newly acquired wheels / tires (mine) but since I listed it there in a public forum I will honor the $200 plus all shipping insurance, fees, etc.
FYI, insurance allowed $700.00 per tire and wheel so @ $300 it's still more than fair I think.
I replaced my centers a few months ago and I'm pretty sure the originals are in the garage.

I had 3 of my 4 wheels (2003 OEM) stolen last Friday. Needing transportation and the fact that the wife's garage was blocked, I bought after market. I have this one wheel left so if someone needs a single in pretty good condition let me know, Located in Corpus Christi, TX 78418.Price? We should be able to reach a deal. I could use a factory 6 disc head unit with Bose since mine has had the discs stuck for 5 years.

I have one wheel left over from some thievery last Friday. Anyone looking for a decent used wheel? They took the other three and all 4 caps but I believe I have four caps left over from when I replaced mine due to aging. Located in 78418.
Had to replace the stock with after market to get back on the road.

Cap received albeit the following Monday not Friday (creating a lable does NOT constitute shipping). They look good. Plastic is re-painted nicely, center chrome is excellent, new Bowtie 'stckers' are good. For $140 vs. $400 quoted from dealer I would recommend. I considered installing the one I lost, keeping a spare and selling the other two but the new ones are so much nicer than mine I replaced all four.

Currently enjoying some Bar Room Blues via Tunein and Sqeezebox in the garage while awaiting Mr. UPS to deliver my new headlight assemblies so I can check out a new set of Sylvania zXe lamps. Anything will look good after years of staring thru the hazed/crazed lenses with OEM lamps.
