Not much of an overall turn out but had 4 SS's there. it was good to see keith(kjt13) and jesse(sick03ss) again and meet taylor (907blownss)who came up from RI. ..

First off I want to say thanks for comming out all of you. and 2nd I have no idea why or what happened? perfect weekend and we had 30 cars show up?

Well the event is just a day away and the weather is looking PERFECT! Total 180 from our May 7th opener with all the wet weather we had that ended with that brutal barrage of tornado's. Hope everyone is ok and let me just remind you of the show and some cool surprises.
First off this event is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society! We will have vouchers that you give your server and up to 20% of your bill goes directly to the ACS. What's so special about that? Well how bout car side service. Servers will be out there to take your order and bring it out to you to enjoy right by your car! (sorry no alcohol can be ordered for outside).
Olsen Cadillac will be down there with one of Caddy's performance cars! YES Cadillac makes some seriously fast luxury sedans Check it out!
WZLX 100.7 Boston's Classic Rock is scheduled to be at the show from 12-3 to play some classic rock and pass out some stuff!
NTB will be there with their 20ft Monster Truck (inflatable but still cool)

The threat of rain put a dent in the turnout of our kickoff show.. lets make up for it in June!

INFO: Short notice like I said in the posting for our show on May 7th. at UNO's in Waltham.
NeXuS:New England is looking for cars, trucks, bikes to be in our promo commercial for our show!
I know its off season but if you got it on the road, or can pull it out of hibernation bring it on down.
If your close to Waltham come on down!
DATE:This Sat. March 12th
Time: We are shooting for late morning to early afternoon. Weather permitting.
Duration: The shoot should last 2-4 hours depending how well filming goes. Please make sure you can be committed for a majority of the time. Since we need consistency during filming.
Location: Were going to be shooting in 2 close locations in Waltham.
BJ's parking lot at 66 Seyon Street, Waltham
Then possibly some more shots at the Shaws right down the road on River Street.
What were looking for:The car does not have to be 100 point clean! Just good enough to be on camera! So a quick wipe down is all is needed. Cars trucks bikes! Old and New. If you got something old and new, bring the old one down. Key is variety!
The only thing we can offer is if you show up with your car you will be in the commercial in some way! If time permits and your in a club in the New England area we might do a quick interview or idea of some sort to follow this up, maybe a "making of" for our You Tube show. This all depends on how many people show up! So wear your club's shirt!

The show is still a little ways off but wanted to spread the word! And tell you what we have so far!
The banner pretty much says it all! May 7th at UNO's in Waltham. Rain Date TBA.
This is for a good cause, come hang out show off your truck and go in and eat and a % of your food bill will be donated to the American Cancer Society!
We had a great time last year and UNO's welcomed us back with a big YES! So were looking to just make this much bigger and better each month!
We are working out "awards" right now. YES, people wanted them so were going to do something cool! Right now this might be just for the kickoff show..but who knows.. Along with I hope a few more goodies! But it is all TBA.
Also the video we shot last year of the shows we had is not the best and want to do a better job this year. We still have it and might try to fix it enough to work sometime down the road. BUT, we got a serious upgrade in equipment for this year! So that is a good reason to be at the shows each month! ALSO what were looking for is...if March is good to us *cross fingers* maybe shooting a promo for our Youtube show! If its a nice weekend day it might be short notice but need a few cars, trucks or bikes. The more the better. Not sure what the promo will be exactly but we will need some background of some cool cars and trucks and bikes! So stay tuned and check us out on Facebook and let us know!

There is only a few more days till the show. It is still on! This is rain or shine event. It does look like it will be windy but the rain will have passed.

We had a great turnout the first show we did. Over 50 cars showed up! Not bad for a month of planning. Would like to see some of these trucks roll in!

Come on down and support Stacy and her fight against cancer! Car wash is $10 bucks and it ALL goes to Stacy! On top of that there is a chance to win some great raffle items, signed sports stuff, gift baskets and so much more! Anyone that brings down a classic, Hot Rod, or Muscle Car old or new to get washed will have the picture taken and posted here on our facebook page!(Your special truck is already clean! Ok bring the Daily Driver! This is all for Stacy!) The event is huge but the parking lot is small, after you get your truck washed park it and enjoy the people buy a few raffle tickets and help support this good cause! There will be food and drink! July 9Th Nexus:New England'S Support The Troops Show! Uno'

This is our 3rd show of our monthly shows for the season! I want to say thank you personally to the few that came out and to the SSS crew that pulled in! I know last show was a little low on the turnout but I am hopeful that this next one will be a bounce in the right direction! Hope you guys can make it again!
July 9th UNO's 155 Bear Hill Road Waltham MA.
So far:
the American Cancer Society told us that NeXuS:New England had the largest single fund raiser donation from UNO's Dough Raising Program ever! That is not us that is YOU! You comming out! Thank you!
At our last events we have had:
- WZLX 100.7 Bostons Classic Rock at our show playing some great music and giving away prizes!
- Monster Energy stop by passing out Monster drinks from the HUGE Monster Energy 4x4!
- NTB with a great display of tires and rims and a huge 20ft Monster Truck (inflatible but still a sight to see)
- Olsen Cadillac showing off some amazing Caddies and the 550+HP V Series that sets the "Standard of the world" in luxury performance!
- Mass Performance, bringing a variety of cars from old school customs to the best in todays performance and not to be outdone the always beautiful Mass Performance models that make any event just that much hotter!
- The top tuners and Hot Rodders in the area come and diplay cars and talk to people about what they do!
- Local clubs, We have had New England Camaro 5 come out with a huge group, not to be outdone the local Avalanche guys (with some insane trucks!) the local KRONUS guys ( some as far away as NY), Local memebers of the Silverado SS site AND YOU! Without you being there this is not possible! Without you telling people what were doing it would not be growing! Each one of you is what makes this happen!
The hundreds of you ranging from the classics like our recent Car of the Month winning Caddy to the just released Camaro SS convertible!
In the last 2 shows we have given away almost $800 in prizes!
Why am I telling you this? To let you know what your missing and why you should be at the next show! Come on down and help out and enjoy the day! What might be at this one?
