12 gauge is the size of wire, you need heavy wire to send the power to the subs. The speaker wires coming out of the amp look small. They should be atleast 12 gauge, doesn't matter the brand, just the size matters.
ok i just checked it yeah i got 16 gauge ill change that out tomorrow and change the ground well see how it sounds then

i didn put up the pics to get criticized i put em up to show and ask for help if somebody saw something wrong i donno how you saw what i got as ghetto seeing as theres a brand new macbook pro siting right next to my subs i looked up and saw where i messed up on the wiring with the capacitor thanks for pointing that out that might be why my protect is coming on alot the guy i bought the system off of said it never went into protect on him i still dont know what you had meant by 12 gauge any good brands in mind?

The amp looks grounded to the cap and then to the chassis, it should grounded directly to the truck. The speaker wires should be atleast 12 gauge.

i actually do drive it with the box there it sounds nice and hits hard i never drive with the back seat down unless someones there and all wiring was free i donno what you mean about the ground though.? whats better for the speaker wire?

so here it is still gonna upgrade the capacitor and stereo these are just meanwhile i save up for a pioneer touchscreen for all u guys that know alot lemme know whats the best tune points for my amp its a t1500 1bd this shit hits hard my cousin from two blocks down said he could hear it at his house any other pointers lemme know thanks guys!

got my l7s thursday and tomorrow im getting my amp t15001bd installing that shit tomorrow so i can finally hear her bump! ill post up some pics when im done

same thing happened to me i replaced the solenoid as well damn autozone oreillys or pep boys didn have it got it out of a u pull it worked just fine and started like normal and no more drained batterys

Totally blacked out is a little too much for my taste. I have a black billet grille, black bowtie, but with a sliver outline, and left the ducts silver. I also have cleared corners on the lights. Have a look at my garage (link below) for some pictures. The more different schemes you look at, the better to help you decide. Good luck.
yeah i had liked the idea but i thought about it and its hard to keep the paint clean right now imagine trying to keep the black rims clean too! ive always liked the chrome look and im putting 24s so i think i might go with the chrome lol just to showoff

alright you guys i need your opinions i was thinking about blacking out the entire truck but i ended up not liking the black rims on the truck when i tried them on so a. should i black it out black grill, black rims. or b. new chrome grill with black bowtie and chrome rims what would look better in ur opinion?? i know its my decision but id like some input for reference you know

if your looking to trade out the whole front end i wouldn know but i did get the bumper cover for my 2001 silverado it looks pretty kick ass not exact but as long as it resembles one im fine with that till i get my real one

looks like a little orange peel. From your statement about bumps sounds like it. Once it gets color sanded and buffed out you will be really happy. It looks really good.

Yea mine is steel I just was not sure about te fiberglass. The only problem now is trying to find a hitch that come through the license plate hole. I checked hidden hitch but they do not make one for a 2500hd with a roll pan.
damn good luck man im not gonna be towing anything or putting anything on the bed i just need to drop it the back is higher than the front

painters almost done and i dont even have it in yet it was supposed too get here today but no luck!

So i got the truck back today still need to take it back in two weeks to get polished and a few more things to be finished waiting on the roll pan and the painters gonna redo the tailgate i want it completely clean and the mirrors are gonna get painted future mods drop and some rims can somebody tell me what is the best drop kit for my truck thanks guys

how did you get that too fit?? lol and i think i am cuz it sounds like normal too me and everybody that gets in is always covering there ears or there face is tingling and im planning on dynomatting it and getting an optima battery already recommended twice in one day lol
