  1. The show said it was going g to be a lighter version of the mixture they are using now. What's the easiest way to remove that stuff? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

There is no easy way to remove a good Line X bedliner install. Theres an expensive way, which is getting a Demagnitizer. or you can go old school with a chisel or floor scraper.. Either way.. its going to take a lot of time and a lot of elbow grease to remove it.

  2. I have been wanting to get my rear inner fenders of my truck done is that possible?

Yes. you can literally spray anything. Ive sprayed plenty of wheel wells. Ive even sprayed the back of the sideview mirrors on a Chevy where its painted, not the plastic around it.

  3. Pics?? Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore

Sorry it took FOREVER but here is a few.. I literally have hundreds of pictures..

This was a big styrofoam heart a frequent customer brought in. It got Line X'd then painted by her, and is now in display for the world to see in New York.

Theres also a crotch rocked i sprayed, a few gas tanks, a boat.. A styrofoam ice cream bar and a styrofoam poodle haha.

  4. I have a diagram I got from Chevy that shows all the internals of the differential. Your right there is a locking pin, however I dont think you need to put it on before you put it together. I'm not really

sure how to explain it, but I think its an internal ring that attaches itself somehow, or at least thats what I think.. I do however know I didnt put anything on the spindle, I just put it back in as easy as it came out.. I drove my SS yesterday after reinstalling my differential and it ran like a champ!

  5. When you pulled the axel that was in the part you broke out, how did you do it? I got mine out but is there suppose to be a licking pin or ring or something on it?

Are you talkin about the spindle? I thought the same thing since it has that groove for a ring, what it looks like anyways. However to my understanding, and anybody correct me if I'm wrong, there is no "actual locking pin" I believe its all through pressure.. Mine came out just like that.. and i put it in no problems today. All thats left for me to do it is tighten it up and give it some liquid

  6. Mine just broke in the exact same spot...along with the cv boot axel thing, total mess, not even sure what happen.

yeah it sucks man.. the fortunate thing is i didnt pay 450 bucks.. I got the housing that broke for about 150 through chevy and it still came with a 12 month warranty. im pretty sure you could get a cv axle through them or any parts store.. your preference but if its just the housing that cracked i STRONGLY recommend you go to chevy.. best price with best warranty. EVERY junkyard i went to didnt have it.. parts store didnt have it.. I even tried places out and around Texas.. If i had gone to chevy in the beginning i would of had my truck 2 weeks ago. Eh.. live and learn thumb.gif

  7. I've towed with my AWD 04 SS, I think you'd be alright.. I've towed a livestock trailer with 2 Longhorn Bulls on one occasation... Same livestock trailer with 2 horses.. Vehicles; a 2 92 Cadillac, a 91 Cadillac... Even a salvaged boat... Haha just given you an idea blahblah.gif

  8. Thanks for the input. As it is I already beat my friend, he won't race me no more ha, plus he's not the racing type. My other buddy has a 2001 5.3 ext cab silverado with a shift kit and a homemade PVC pipe intake..."sigh" He keeps up about a car length and a half...ish? away. I always thought my SS was a bit quicker then other stock SS's. Now that I think about it, I have gotten new cats.. The guy who owns the muffler shop I went to said they were high performance cats, but I think they were just plain universals. I do however want to add a full exhaust from headers on down. I was thinking about some Dynatech headers with maybe some different cats, depending on the condition of the ones I have now when I actually do it, leading into a Borla exhaust possibly. I'm not quite sure of what kind of intake i want quite yet.. What exactly is a custom tune that you mentioned, is that like a superchip or something similar?
