  5. i had tons of problems do it right and buy the aeromotive by pass style regulator
  6. ive looked at his kits before.. and I didn't like that you had to cut the upper shock mount .. looks like you used a shock that uses the stock location.. right? if so, which shock?
  7. i got a brand new one in blue without the bowtie.. make me an offer.
  8. i like em.. no complaints.. on another note.. found i have to use the wilwood SS lines.
  9. looks like i wont be able to use my russell lines
  10. i just got a set of wilwood front brakes. in reading the installation instructions, it says the following: "NOTE: OEM rubber brake hoses generally cannot be adapted to Wilwood calipers. The caliper inlet fitting is a 1/8-27 NPT.The preferred method is to use steel adapter fittings at the caliper, either straight, 45 or 90 degree and enough steel braided line to allow for full suspension travel and turning radius, lock to lock" now.. I got stock calipers on mine now, with Russell stainless lines.. but they are the OEM banjo style connections. so, those who have put wilwoods on.. what did you do with the brake line installations on wildwood calipers?
  11. any chance you'll make the cover for the master cylinder?
  12. heres a sample photo of one cover installed on my passenger side.. I took it with my phone, and my camera lense is cracked.. sorry about the potatoe looking photo.. LOL..
  13. I need 4 of these coils.. anyone got some? GM part number 12611424
  14. they are very heavy duty.. very strong.. if you're interested in a set, let me know.
  15. Ok folks, anyone who's tried to put abears, or edlebrock coil\valve covers on, know you can have issues with clearance either the firewall, the alternator, your procharger, or all the above. PLUS.. anyone see many abears for sale? I sure don't.. and the only companies I found that made similar covers, wanted over $1200 or more for them, with a no return\exchange policy.. nutso. the only way you'd get a set of abear like covers was to wait YEARS for someone to finally want to sell a set. I had been searching for years for my own set.. finally I contacted Wegner Motorports.. they had a bad ass set of covers... but there were clearance issues with them in the trucks. I worked for the past year with Wegner Motorsports to design these.. Here is your first look at the first production set! Without further delay, I give you..the Wegner Coil and Valve covers for the LS platform! I will have a write up on installing these, which will also cover what parts you will need in addition.. so far, you'll need different coils (the GM LS3\LS7 coil, AC Delco part number 12611424, and you'll have to plumb your PCV system accordingly. These come with provisions for -6 AN fittings on either cover and you'll have to design your PCV according to your own application. When compared to the old abears, I can tell you these are a nicer design. The coils sit in the top, instead of the base, the tops are also vented to allow heat out (the abears were sealed, and I always head complaints about them cooking coils.. never experienced it myself). You get all the bolts, AND GASKETS to put these in. They are CNC'd out of aluminum.. not cheap, not flimsy. have some weight to them.. nicely designed! They come black anodized, and can be custom engraved, Engraving is an extra $100 on top of the cost of these, You can get them polished, that is an extra $50 on top of the cost of these. The base price for you all, if I can get 10 of you together, will be $850 plus a shipping charge, depending on where you are.. If you're interested, please reply on this posting.
  16. you will need a larger TB I run the nick Williams 102 4 bolt. you'll need an x link to use it also need an external regulator, and a vacuum block , relocate the MAP sensor to the rear of the unit. the intake only has one vacuum port on it, which is why you need that block.
  17. Illinois will see that the rear o2s are turned off if they throw up a 'not ready' in the tune..
  18. in Illinois you pass if the following are true... 1 no CEL light 2 you have not more than one "not ready" response in your PCM, which you can only see if you hook up something like HP Tuners to see it.
  19. shopman, you still making the brake duct covers?
  20. find a 454 big block, build it to kick all forms of ass and put it in there..
