  1. Now i know why gas prices are so high.
  2. Nice! You planning on going to Thunder in the Burgh tomarrow?
  3. I dont know what state you live in but gutting your cats might be better than removing them for visual purposes during inspection. if your putting cut-outs in i would put them as close to your headers as possbile. imo.
  4. I'm racing. Planning on being there around 9:30 saturday morning. looks like nice weather is in the forecast so thats good.
  5. I have my stock one for sale. Let me know if you are still looking. Thanks.
  6. i'll be there saturday. imo saturday will be a lot better than sunday. i did this event the first two years they had it and it was a blast.
  7. make sure since you removed your exhaust that nothing is hitting the frame rail. at wot your engine will twist and you could possible be picking up knock from you headers hittign the frame if you have them. fix your bent exhaust and put it back on.
  8. I was havign the same code come up a lot when i was usign the stock TB, i thought it was in the tune but taking the TB wire connector on and off all the time i determined that was the problem. Since I switched over to the 90mm i haven't had the problem since.
  9. Nice gains w/ the 125 shot!
  10. Your truck looks great, what kind of rotors are you using?
  11. I'd be willing to sell mine and i live in Pittsburgh. The wheels are in mint condition and the tires have 22,000 miles on them.
  12. So you're just selling one rail then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, 2 fuel rails come are being sold in the box and still in the factory packaging from F.A.S.T. FAST makes two types, 1 with fittings and 1 without fittings. I originally bought the without fitting set and found out that i needed the one with the fittings so now I am selling the LS1 Fuel Rail Kit w/o fittings for LSX Manifold. DESCRIPTION: Improves fuel rail volume and reduces weight. Those factory fuel rails just look out of place along side that high performance manifold and fuel injection system. So why not pick up the overall appearance and performance of your LS1 engine compartment by adding a set of FAST™ LS1 Fuel Rails? With the added benefit of increased fuel rail volume, to insure that your injectors never run dry, and lightweight design, adding FAST™ LS1 Fuel Rails to your engine is a great idea. Featuring high strength billet aluminum construction and beautifully finished in red anodize, FAST™ LS1 Fuel Rails deliver performance in addition to a show car quality appearance. The FAST™ Fuel Rails are available in a component-matched kit including black anodized #8 fittings and “super seal” O-rings or the fuel rails may be ordered without the hardware. For more information about FAST™ Fuel Rail kits and other FAST™ products go to www.fuelairspark.com.
  13. I had the same problem with my torque converter locking up. You can have it set at a higher mph so it doesn;t lock up on the track. GM does that to help out on gas mileage. Trust me, on the highway your not going to get good mpg if you have it removed or turned up.
  14. I have a KB s/c. The install was very easy and the instructions were right on. Customer support is a problem though, i know 1st hand. My truck ran a 13.9 with just the supercharger and a tune from Ed Wright (fastchips). I do not have an intercooler. What are the goals your looking out of this supercharger? I suggest looking into the new 2.4 supercharger KB just came out with. They are running them on corvettes and they are putting 900hp down. If you want to buy mine I'm willing to sell it. I need a bigger one to reach the performance numbers I would like to accomplish. PM me with any questions.
  15. That was me, you have a nice truck. I was trying to catch up to you in the traffic but it was impossible.
  16. anyone who wants to meet up tonight or sat night give me a call on my cell. 302-270-0548 Matt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wish i had your # before I left, all well <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh well ill be down there all summer if your coming down again. The OC car and truck show is june 10th-11th. Saturday night was defiently insane. Burn out pits down baltimore avenue were absoultly awesome. Sucked sitting in traffic 1.5 hours just to get to them tho. I blew the doors off a few mustangs and beat a Lightning from a roll 20-50. Saw about 3 different black SSS but wasnt ever close to stop and talk. Anyone here have a black SS with a silver pin stripe down the side and Jeff gordons #24 on the tail gate?? I also saw a black SS that had dual exhaust that came out where the srt-10 rams do that sounds pretty sweet. And i saw another black SS that had a big sticker or emblem on it that took up alot of the back window....any of these truck you guys?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was the guy with the sticker on the back window and the exhaust that looks like an SRT-10. It was a great weekend, nice weather and alot of burnouts.
  17. All of the methods described can work, on the GTO i was telling you about, I used a sheet metal hammer and some tlc to roll the lip up. Obviously with my method you are going to have to seam seal the lip, body fill to make it look factory and paint. make use to watch the paint from flaking with the roller and baseball bat/ softball method. Like autoguy said, don't cut up your truck unless you have to.
  18. Hope to see a couple of you guys in OC. I'm leaving tomarrow morning. Here's my # if you guys want to meet up somewhere. 724-433-4422
  19. you could roll the inner lip up so you don't have to cut it. just did it on a gto so wider wheels could fit, worked out nice.
