Having some serious issues with my bone stock 03' SSS DD, bought the truck in New Mexico with a damaged T-case for cheap and trailered it home, went through T-case and replaced all damaged pieces including rear case half, planetary assy, and all seals... filled with Auto track and test drove, T-case had severe popping sound under load. Removed t-case and took it to a good friend that specializes in T-case and manual trans overhaul, found that drive chain was stretched and and skipping over drive gears. Had my friend replace drive chain and he insisted on viscous coupling replacement as well, only way he would warranty his work. Re-installed t-case again, drives perfect now when cold and on short drives but as soon as t-case warms up from an extend drive or any highway driving it binds up severly in tight "parking maneuvers"... no binding in staright line what so ever though. Removed t-case once again and had my guy replace new viscous with another new viscous, re-installed and still having the same issue. Very tired of removing and installing this t-case and running out of ideas... looking for some input or advice!!! possible that the rear gov-lock is staying locked and causing this????

is that at like a mile run or what? if so what did she do?
it was a car show in atwood Kansas called "The Early Rod Run" they take us out to a air strip to drag race for a couple hours, its a lot of fun, no times provided though lol, they have a cop at the end with a radar gun... guess I had the second fastest mph, only a modded ZR1 beat my mph do it every year, its a lot of fun!
What wheels and finish are those? They are exactly the ones I want! Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk
They are 20" torque thrust ST's in the gray finish, made by American racing
Very nice. looks great. I like how clean it is. We need some new times.
working on it man, just need to finish the meth kit install and turn the boost up to 15 psi.... if i'm getting kicked out of the track i'm going to make sure its ready to go all out lol

Killer build man. Quick question how did you setup your fuel system I want to do exactly what you have do you have any more pics mainly were do you fill it up at? Thanks
Hey bud, I do have more pics, it's a DBrods fuel cell with a Magnafuel Pro Tuner 750 pump, -10 feed, -8 return, Aero A1000 regulator... You fill it in the bed just in front of the tailgate.

Looks great. Can't wait to see this great white hope completed.
There ya go lol, thanks man!
Sweet build-done right. I love the way a turbo pulls compared to a blower. It's so more of a rush when it hits... You have some talenetd plumbing artistry going on there. Are you just doing a drop kit for the suspension or other plans? And how you going to stop that beast?
Thanks man, It has a 2/4 drop now and im not going any lower, to hard on the front axles, stock brakes work pretty good and i've had no issues so far, i do have plans to install C6 Z06 brakes at some point though!
i love the ti color pipes with the orange boots and block , look great together!
Thanks man!

Interesting
Im just the opposite on MSD's. I went through two sets of Taylors with them not wanting to come off the plug and ripping the boots off and not being on very long to boot. Second time I made sure to put a little more grease in the boots and same thing. Switched to MSD's and havnt looked back.
And yes the bendable boots are nice
Good luck with the build man, ill be watching
I do see your point there, those taylors lock on pretty good, we'll see if I can tear them apart the first time they come off lol, that would piss me off.... Thanks man!
Thanks man! Not a big dyno number guy but im sure it will make it to a dyno at some point...Very few times in my life I have been at a total loss for words... Wow.... awesome. Can't wait to see the dyno numbers on this
exactly. amazing quality of craftsmanship on this. keep it up. were all drooling
Thanks man, i'm drooling too, its been down for 2 years!
Thanks man! This is a great looking build. Love the headers n I see you pay alot of attention to detail and all I can say is hell of a job. I can't wait to do a build myself.
Thanks man, yeah those are Taylor heat shields from Summitracing.Lovin' the header coating. Really looks great.
I assume that those are Taylor heat shield boot's?

Thanks man, my uncle did hours of testing on resistance vs. length on bulk plug wire and taylor came in second to the Moroso wire but they didn't have Moroso wire in Orange lol. Hated the MSD's can never tell if they are fully seated or not, PITA to get on and off, do like how they can be bent though! I needed a 45 degree boot to clear the passenger side runners too!Super clean work.
Although not a fan of Taylor wires but nice either way. I like the heat boots most of all. Also the coating is a nice change from shiney or black. I like that a lot

Works fine man, just have to run a submersible fuel line from the pump over to the internal fuel filter.

Picked the truck up from MoFab the other night, now on to all the small finishing touches! Scotty and Eric at MoFab did an amazing job on the fab work, couldn't have asked for more! Pulled the manifolds last night and dropped them off for ceramic coating this morning, wrapping the downpipe and crossover pipe with heat wrap tonight. (sorry I like taking pics)

know some 4wd 1500 guys in the mid 9's with just sleevs over the stock tie rods.... I've run consistant 11 and 10 second passes on my stock stuff with no issues in 4WD......
