I'm really confused ...let me just start off by saying I love the way your truck looks, and i don't see anything wrong really with putting SS on your clone. but isn't it a tad bit hypocritical to poke fun at someone else s "clone"...lol I mean by no means do i find that turd appealing, but really? im not positive but i think Ive seen a post similar to this one posted by you and someone said something similar to what im saying, i could be wrong that its you. But if it is i thinking you kinda want to get harped on. lol

A trans cooler is definitely more important than just adding a pan, if a trans cooler is in your budget and skillset.
At this time it is not in my budget, time-wise or money-wise (the time and money I would lose researching, buying parts, and doing the project is not worth it to me at this point. I would definitely like to add a transmission cooler in the future though.
This is just an after work trans fluid swap, and I happened to find info on the Corvette pan for now.
this is what you want to get if its in your budget. "Its so easy a cave man can do it!!" Contact time2kill on here, he has a sweet pre-made bracket that fits perfectly on our trucks. I want to say its not more than 20 bones or so extra also, easy install and well worth it.

Yes a caveman could install a plug in a stock pan
Also I would want the plug on the bottom of the pan rather than the side
x2 for the bottom.

One benefit I see is the drain plug. I know a couple times I've pulled the pan with oil in it while its still in the truck and it would be less of a mess having the option to take a bit out. Kinda have to fanagle mine out from around the exhaust. But I would assume that they make a pan the same size as our stock one with a plug in it, or you could just put one in yourself I guess. Either way wouldn't hurt having an extra quart I guess...What makes this worthwhile. Is it just the extra capacity?
nothing really, just to say you have an extra quart in the pan...which really doesnt do anything more either. I would be looking for ways to cool the oil rather than add

I rock a crossbreed holster, this seems neat though. But it still seems like it would fall. Concept is cool, but I like the fact that if I move anyway, run, jump or skip she ant going no where.lol

I just got my transmission put in and my spedo isnt reading. Last time we pulled the trans the transfer case droped and landed directly on one of the studs. I replaced it and went ahaead and put it back in hoping that all was good. Got the truck rolliong around and all seemed good until we took it for the test drive...no speedometer. so no shifting also. Next day i went and bought a new speed sensor for the transfer case, installed about 30 mins ago with no luck. Got the tech2 on there and both front wheels are reading, no bueno on the rear wheels. also put a camera through the sensor port and spun the drive shaft, didnt see anything obvious. Im going to pull it later this week when i have some time. Anything anyone has seen before, Am i looking at the wrong thing just becasue of what happend. what should i exspect for pricing? any help would be nice. Thanks

What's the difference from going out July 3rd and celebrating at 12am, than going out December 31st at night? People don't celebrate new years on the 1st at night...lol

This will have you rolling, not sure if any of y'all have the chive app on your phone, but you should. Bit of a read but worth it.

I like it. It is totally fitting. I really want one referring to my turbo. I love spolin, but that would be copying spoolin off pt.net.
Nah. Different state. Im sure lots of others have the same as mine. I showed a few guys at work and they just started laughing. They know what ive been through and how much ive put into this truck. Now im just working out the kinks. Haha. Took me awhile to think of it. I think a "turbo" plate would be awesome. I thought about
SLO LSX
03SSS
FASST
SSTOCK
W8 4 ME
BLWNSS
and a few others i cant think of now. But i think money pit is about as fitting as it gets.
Haha I already have BLWNSS in AK plates. Nice though I like yours.

Just went to Disney and island. I would leave out Disney, go to island of adventures and sea world. Then like you said chill out by the beach or pool. Universal and island is a two days pass but if you booked it through out the day I guess you could see each park. If you do both those in one day, you'll be glad you saved one day to chillax. I was super dissapointed with Disney. Its not like it used to be there. Island was a good the, as was sea world though, good luck!

I don't know is anyone else had this problem, but I figured I'd share just in case. I did this swap about a week ago. I was having a really difficult time getting the manifold to seat properly on its surface. Ended up trimming the four guide tabs off the new gasket. After I filed them down she sat down perfect. But I could for the life of me get it in right with those tabs. But been running for a week fine no problems, I don't think it will affect the manifolds function.

I would def try to buy it back though and sell the parts. You can make some good money parting it out on here, especially if you pick it back up for cheap.

Yes its mine. I'm getting out of the military and am having problems figuring out how to get it shipped back to AK on the govs dime. If it all works out I'll keep it and drive it in AK. We'll see.
