In stock for, you are putting approx 280RWHP (345HP is crank
I've done all of the mods mentions but I warn against the BTR Stage 3 unless you don't mind less daily drivability. I agree in a trans rebuild with a dedicated trans cooler. I've had my SS for 12 years and had to do the transmission 3 times and considering a 4th rebuild.
Good luck.

FYI, you can find the caps on eBay

These are GM OEM C6Z06 calipers which are manufactured by PBR which is Baer. I had the Baer Logo added when I had the calipers powder coated.

153k on mine. Trans went out at 145k but that is because I tow a 24' enclosed trailer on occasion. I get compliments on the truck all the time.

143K on my 2005

I would just get pieces from the hardware store or do what i did and use the supplies pieces in the kit. I used all from the kit (took my time and did it right a professional.) Save the 75 bucks. Im pulling my grille off soon so i will take pics on how i mounted mine. Even has the front air temp. Sensor righr there like factory too!
Please do.......

There is definitely an improvement although only 75% of the rotor surface is being used. I did the mod this past spring and used Hawk single pads. Will use EBC pads when I need to replaced the brakes.

Thanks for the posts, I am having the same problem. Will follow your lead.

Can someone please clarify where to get the rotors? I have the Z06 calipers and the brackets (Rudy).
Where do I get the correct front and back Baer rotors for my 2005 SS? There seems to be
conflicting information. Sorry to beat a dead horse but want to be sure.B

Still for sale?

I had to replace the steering shaft, took a while to figure out what is was. No problems since.

I'm interested in your outcome, having similar problems.

I have both the a 05 SSS and a C6Z06. I hope you realize the LS7 is a dry sump which requires extra plumbing on top of the reluctor issue. I think the LS3 would be easier to retrofit IMHO.

I am getting 13ish mpg (city) with CAI, headers, aftermarket cats, Magnaflow and Wheatley tune. I have been thinking about turning off the front and rear cats. That may increase my MPG? I thought the PCM uses the O2 sensors to adjust fuel flow?? Any advise would be appreciated.

You can do it yourself, it just takes patience. I installed my Dynatech headers w/ cats in about 5 hours (leisurely) w/ the assistance of a friend.......use a lift if possible. Drove to the muffler shop to weld in a dual in/out Magnaflow, .....got a lot of stares driving to the muffler shop but it was fun.

I get an average of 12 mpg kinda sucks but wouldn't trade the truck for anything
Getting 13 in the city...........................

I'm running the 18" Magnaflow with built in X pipe. It sounded great at idle but at 2500 rpm it had a bad drone. I ended up adding two Magnaflow inline resonators. That fixed the problem. If I had to do it over I think that I would have just went with the 22" muffler.
Did you keep the X pipe? Pictures? I have the same setup but want to quiet it down a bit, especially on the highway.

That's what I bought. Didn't help on the passenger side. Just as noisy as ever.
Same here, I bought these but they didn't work. I contacted the seller and he sent me some slightly longer (for a fee of course), they still didnt help. $30 + down the drain.
Finally!
