Its time to get rid of the truck due to money being tight and college expenses. It is an 05 Special order truck with 86,XXX miles. Fully loaded TWO WHEEL DRIVE with leather and sunroof without steering wheel controls. The interior and leather is all in great shape with no cracks or major blemishes, it has been treated with leather cream and conditioner. The truck has minor bolt ons all done professionally, nothing from my driveway. It has Gibson headers and a full Gibson cat back exhaust, McGaughys 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch shackles, aFe cold air intake, new hitch mount, drop in bed liner, catchall floor mats, brand new instrument cluster, new chrome wheel centercaps, 3M clear bra, silver birch matched engine cover and a custom "Super Sport" sticker across the windshield matched to the exterior color of the truck. The truck is immaculate with very minor rock chips. This truck is very rare in this color and configuration. I'm asking 18,500 OBO. EDIT: The truck also has two pb 10" Subs in a pro box under the back seat, powered by a Sony 600w amp.

I was curious how much horsepower/torque gains i would see if I did ls3 heads + intake on my 05 ss
I'm sure its not the best option out there but theres really good deals on wrecked ls3 top ends.

Looks good man! What did you use to drop it? I hate the fact that these trucks come so damn high
McGaughys 2" drop spindles on the front and 2" shackles on the back.

Put the new 2/2 drop, aFe CAI and full Gibson exhaust with Gibson headers on the other day. Trucks dirty..

Matt* puts a 6.0 LSX in all of his restorations, so yeah it's been done a lot, he's already got one for the 57 Bel Air and his friend Aaron has one in his ol' Firebird too
But I don't think i've ever seen one in a 49 ford truck. We would probably have to go with a built ls1. We have ls1 parts everywhere from that TA.

Well if ya get time great! She has a 6speed so the ET times wont be as good but at least we would have an idea. The rear end is stock so not gonna take a chance on dropping the clutch with the 315s on glue. Hers was built for road racing, unbelievable money was spent on it...the car had 20,105 miles on it when we picked it up in May.
Basicly, i kept blowing stuff up in mine then i'd park it and drive a little beater s10 until i could replace the part with something better. Eventually I got to something I couldnt blow up. I melted a set of pistions and blew a hole in the block. Along with many other messups like a twisted drive shaft.

Between her and I we have had 4 Trans Ams, love those cars.
Yeah, they're great cars. I'm not positive what the rwhp was. I guess i can dig in the Trans am box and find out.

We have a 1949 ford truck that my grandpa drove in highschool. Its in almost perfect cosmetic shape. It has a 413 mercury and a 4 spd push button trans. We were looking at doing an LS swap into it when business gets slow in the winter. I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of anything like it being done.

So i've recently sold my 2002 Trans am WS6. I purchased this car at age 16, my parents paid 6 and i paid the other half. After i got it paid off i slowly started modding it. Slowly modding turned into this:

& much much more. Impossible to list everything...
Ran 10.9 in the 1/4 on street tires.
I am now 18 and on to modding my recently purchased SS.
