    So I'm thinking about swapping my lq9 engine with a LSX 454 engine and was wondering if anyone else has done that yet and if so what problems did they run into. This is what all is gonna be on it.

     

    Crate 454 LSX

    Wiseco custom pistons

    Wiseco steel top/ Napier 2nd ring set

    Callie's compstar 6.125" H-beam connecting rods

    Callie's dragonslayer crankshaft

    ARP main studs

    24x relict or wheel.

     

    Any suggestions to add on it are greatly appreciated

    im trying to sell the stock rims they are in good shape will post a picture in the morning shoot me an email and a offer they are going for 850-1100 on ebay for the set used but since im just looking to sell them for a new set of black ones ill sell them at the low end price most likely.

    Sorry I'm still kinda green when it comes to tuning and working on anything other than my 72" C10 lol all this electrical and extra stuff but thank you for the advice. What I'm trying to do is more HP, Torque and that Roar of the engine because I'm used to the straight pipe sound of my 72 and man did she rumble

    I'm working on my 03 Silverado SS and Im planning on doing all this but I need a little help with deciding on the parts. This is the what I wanna do

     

    Big throttle body 

    Fuel rail

    Injectors 

    Air cleaner

    Exhaust straight 

    Hooker headers long

    Programmer chip

    Throttle body spacing

    Shift kit

     

    Any suggestions on what parts I should get?
