  1. If you are at all interested in an SSs,you need see the video that I have of mine. You could not find one more cared for than this one has been, think about they dont build them anymore. Thanks
  2. Hey 03mass, have you learned anything about the possible financing yet? Thanks, Garrell
  3. I noticed a forum member catching some flack about joining just to run an ad and sell his truck and someone made a statement that was correct, you go where the interest is. I wish I wasn't selling my truck but just to let you know I am or was in a long recovery from a widow maker type heart attack. That was bad enough but because I was so bad, didn't talk, sit up and of course walk everyone including an entire teams of Doctors didn't catch the fact until three months afterwards that I had suffered three strokes within probably a month after the attack. The Docs all told my family I would never walk again and I had the mind of a four year old. Through prayer for those that believe and I think the term is " Good Thoughts" I survived and came out of the fog and realized I didn't want to live the way I was I started exercising my legs night and days to break lose frozen joints and strengthening muscles after two years I could walk using a walker. I learned to drive again in the High School parking lot. After two years I was walking very slowly and still do with the help of my custom walking stick. The reason for the slow gait and excruciating pain is that I have Parkinson's Desease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had some slow relearning issues to overcome and I read everything I could get my hands on. I tried for over three years to post pictures but I think it was Downeaster Johnny that posted some pictures in different places in the forum for me. If you are wondering what has changed, on Christmas Eave during our traditional family get together I had another stroke, no listing damage other than weakness and lack of stamina and I am going to get a clean half ton SWB Chevy truck80'S or 90'S and still Dribe some but it is time for this one to go. I have some excellent video that I wish I could post a couple of but I haven't figured that one out yet. Thanks
  4. Let this one kind of start off at a rolling start have the cutouts open then put the wire to the sensor ( used to be the pedal to the metal ) but drive by wire made that obsolete. Anyway hold on but it sounds awesome and the G's feel awesome! So if a kitten and a beast all in one package is what you want this is the truck for you
  5. Realized I left out the fact the truck has had a custom HP tuneup and the estimated flywheel Horse Power is rat at 500 HP but it is a kitten in traffic or at a traffic light. It has outstanding oil pressure and no leaks front to rear. Sorry about the typos but you get the idea. This truck is a joy to drive and performs great.
  6. I have sold this truck four times in the last six months, one young man fell in love with it but didn't have a relationship with a bank and he couldn't put a loan together. Another young man that I really took a liking to and was really pulling for him to put his money together and buy it, he wanted it so bad he could taste it but he just couldn't get it done. Another had just spent sllofvhiscsrbudget building a new shop and he already had two loans so he couldn't swing it either. The next one was the second person to see the new videos and he said it was sold and to hold it until the end of the week and his banker had told him he could get a loan. He went to the bank Friday afternoon to sign the paper work but because the truck is a 2003 the bank could only go 30 months and the payments were going to be $780.00 per week and he had a family and two other payment and he was smart enough to know not to get in trouble. The last one really let the wind out of my sails. He was a retired US government employee, lived in a large home on a huge lake and was ins mid 60'S and owed for nothing. The first time he came to see the truck he walked around and around it and looked inside and under the plus he slid up under it and kept making the comment that there could not be a cleaner SS in the country. He was specifically wanted a black 03, he also had just sold his very low mile Dodge Challenger SRT8 Hemi and his 1970 fully restored Cutlas S. He called a couple of days later and said he would take it and as soon as he could withdraw the full asking price from his Federal Credit Union he would be down with his Wife to pick it up. His Wife was sick for a few day and he called or texted every morning and evening telling me that he didn't want me to think he was stalling but then he got sick but he texted me a picture of the credit union check made out to me for the full amount and signed by him. I will cut to the chase and get down to business. He finally came back with the shirt sticking out of his shirt pocket. I had two Bill Of Sales made out as he had asked with the title. When he arrived he wanted to drive the truck again and walked around and around it and said it was exactly what he was looking for but he needed to think about it. I said you mean stand here and think about it or drive fifty miles back home. He went up town for a cup of coffee and a snack but he called in ten minutes and said he was going to hold off and I just asked him what the problem was, his Wife didn't want him to buy it. Now down to business: The truck has 55,400 miles on it and carries its original paint with no door dings or chips in the paint like it would get in a Walmart or Supermarket parking lots because it is not allowed to go to those places. It has never been hit or wrecked and it is always kept in a heated and cooled shop. I handwaxed it every six months and weekly I wipe it down with always a new Microfiber towel and Lucas Spray wax. At that time it interior is cleaned and dressed with Mother's Leather Cleaner and conditioner. On the floor outside of the drivers door of my truck and my other three vehicles is household door mat to wipe your feet before getting in. Everything under the hood is wiped down every few months with spray detailed. The oil and filter is changed every six months using Mobil1 and all of the undercarriage moving parts are lubed and all fluid levels checked. To the best of my memory the truck has been caught in the rain three times on weekend trips and around home I never get it out if it is threatening rain. No one has ever eaten or drank I the truck. You will see in the pictures that I had a red hockey stripe painted down each side fro 6.0 Billet badges I installed at the front of the front fenders and the hockey stripes taper out to nothing on the center of the back doors. The grille bow tie and the small ones in the center of the original wheels were painted the same red. There is an excellent tight fitting black vinyl Tri-fold Tono cover over the bed and the inside of the bed has a black spray in bedliner. There is a five piece Black Billet grille and a little tasteful old fashion pin striping in the center of the front of the hood and under the tailgate latch.performance Modifications: K&N CAI, FAST LSXrt intake manifold with the original Throttle Body Ported and also FAST Fuel Rail. BBK chrome headers, with Doug's Hedders remote control Cutouts. It also has a true Flowmaster dual exhaust. I don't have the specs here in the house as I am typing this ad but a Comp Cams full roller rocker cam shaft with Comp Cams lifters, bee hive valve springs and heavy wall shaft pushrods. I have full specs on the am that will go with the owners manual. I had Edge Performance Products in California build a custom torque converter last fall and when it was installed I had the transmission cleaned and flushed for the third time and had a shift kit installed and the transmission filled with synthetic transmission fluid. It rides on a new set of Nitto High Performance tires with less than 2500 miles on them. All of the power options, door loccks, windows seats etc. all work perfectly as does the heated lumbar seats. The only negative about the truck is that eventually the instrument cluster will need to be replaced as in all trucks and Suv's built by Chevy and GMC from the late 90's to around 2007 and I think the cost for the cluster has gotten as low as $150.00 I have four videos that I have to email one at a time to those that are seriously interested. Now I will attempt to post some pictures which works for me sometimes and sometime not. Price: $18,500.00 Thank you

  8. Sorry, my original ad has fallen back to page six. I had a seriously interested party email then call this afternoon and tracked back to the original ad. There are some excellent new pictures that another Forum friend posted for me. I don't like to use excuses but after six strokes, one as recent as Christmas Eve, I had to learn or re-learn to do everything and posting pictures has been the toughest. I have trouble comprehending or following written or verbal instructions. The four videos are excellent for anyone seriously interested but I have to send them in four emails so if you are seriously interested and financially qualified send your email price to me At: [email protected] The firm sale price is: $18,000.00 Thanks
  9. I hope this works, I have been trying for three years to post pictures and videos and last Friday night I was successful. I want to thank all of those on this forums and others that have kindly posted pictures for me for years and you are not off the hook yet for this May not work. Back to business I knew these trucks that were built for a few short years were the greatest trucks ever built. They handle and they perform but the performance is untapped. My truck is tame as a kitten but push the go peddle and it is one Bad Ass Truck. It needs nothing mechanical, body, paint or interior. Even the high performance Nitto tires only have less than 2,400 miles on them. The original paint is perfect as is the interior. When I first placed it for sale I really thought it would be sold in 48 hours but six months later no luck. I will not lower the price any more because you don't have to change the oil or service it for 6 months, no tuneup is needed just enjoy it. Thanks and here goes and if I fail send me your email address and I will send you four excellent videos of the greatest truck ever built.
  10. I have a black 2003 with around 55,300 miles, long list of mods both performance and appearance. It has 500 FWHP but is a perfect gentleman in traffic or at a traffic light. Original paint never hit, bumped and has immaculate original paint that is handwaxed every five to six months then it is wiped down weekly always with a NEW Microfiber towel and using Lucas Spray a Wax. At this time I go over the entire interior with Mother's a Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. The oil and filter is changed every disc months using Mobile 1synthetic oil. Of course when the oil is changed all other fluid levels are checked, at 55,000 miles th ye transmission has been serviced three times the last was last fall when I had a custom torque converter built by Edge Performance based on the mild cam that doesn't require a stall converter, gearing, tire height etc. I also had the transmission flushed out and refilled withg synthetic transmission fluid and a shift kit installed. It has new, less than 2,300 miles, on Nitto 420S Tires. There is not a thread out of place on the interior and no parkingcv lot dings on it, Exterior modifications inc. five piece black billet grille, a red hockey stripe painted from a 6.0 Billet emblem I installed at the front of each fender tapering out to a fine sharp point in the middle of of the back doors. The original gold colored grille emblem was etched and it and the small bow tie in the middle of the original wheels were painter the same red as the hockey stripe.I installed a tri-fold a Tono cover that fits and lays flat! There are smoked covers on the headlights, parking and tail lights. I guess it has every option that was available with the exception of the sunroof.all of thre electrical powered items work ie. windows, seats, door looks etc. it is kept in a heated and cooled shop. I have four videos that have to be sent by one email at a time that you can see just how nice the paint and interior are. The only thing the truck needs is the instrument cluster rebuilt org traded out which prices are down to $150.00 for this. Seriously interested with funds to purchase send your email address to: [email protected] for videos. Price is. $18,600.00 Thanks
  11. Someone looking for a SSS you are not going to find one anywhere any nicer than this one. It behaves in traffic like 4 cylinder family sedan but push the pedal and the 500 HP beast comes alive and roars away with the cut outs open, pun intent ended. John did a great job posting the pictures for me but they do not do the truck justice, if you are interested and have any questions you scan call my cell number: 678-634-3875 or better email me at: [email protected] Thanks, Garrell
  12. Three times I felt sure and just recently I was 99.9% sure the truck was sold. Last time he texted me a picture of a check from his Federal Credit Union made out to me for the full purchase price and his words after spending almost two hours looking in, under, and around and around the truck and driving it almost twenty miles was " There can't be a cleaner truck in the entire country than this one" But when he came back to get it alone without his Wife I sensed a change and after driving and doing the around and under bit again I ask him if he was ready to sit down and finalize the deal he said "I have got to think about it a little" He then said the reason my Wife didn't come with me is that she doesn't want me to buy it, she wants me to get a new truck but I don't want a new truck I want this one but I guess I am going to pass on it. I am still trying to get my lungs to fill with air and my heart to get back in rythom. The other two buyers just simply could not get the money but they let me know the problem and every thing is tough today and I understood. SO there loss was your gain, so here goes. First off due to a series of strokes, six,,I can not post pictures but I have a few good one that I will email you if you will send me your email address to: [email protected] Description and Specs: 1- 2003 Black SSS with 55,300 that has always been garaged, I had my dealer trying to find me a new SS when he called and said he has just taken this truck in on trade for a new truck and he drove this one himself until he sold it but it had never been used as a work truck and he could not find me a new one anywhere so it has been in my heated and cooled shop every since. 2- The oil and filter are changed every six months using Mobile 1Synthetic oil only, at that time all other fluid levels are checked. Early this year I had a Edge custom built torque converter and a shift kit installed and the transmission gone through and thoroughly cleaned and beefed up. This was the second time the transmission was serviced. 3- At the time the transmission was serviced I had the radiator drained, flushed and a new 190 degree T-Stat and all need hoses and belts installed. 4- Every five to six months I hand wax the truck and every week I go over it with a California Duster then I use a new Microfiber towel and Lucas Spray wax, vacuum it out and try to clean the glass. When the truck is hand waxed I use Mcguires Leather cleaner and conditioner on all the interior surfaces. 5- I installed 6.0 Billet emblems on bot from fenders and had a small red hockey stripe painted from the 6.0 badges up and back firing off to a thin point in the center of the back doors ala 68 Camaro SS'S. 6- I installed a Black Billet Five Piece a Grille and painted the grille Bow Tie and the small ones in center of the factory wheels painted the same red as the hockey stripe. 7- Installed a quality well fitting trifold tonno cover. 8- The following performance mods have been done: A- K&N CAI Kit, B- BBK Headers, Doug's a Headers electric a Cutouts and Flowmaster real dual exhaust with two mufflers existing into one 3 1/2"pipe in the original location. C- A crane Cams full roller cam kit with rocker arms and beehive valve springs.D- A FAST LSXrt intake manifold with the original 90 MM Throttle Body and FAST fuel rails. E- The truck has had two HP Custom Tuneups. F- New Factory OEM size Nitto 420S tires which have less than 2,500 miles on them. This truck has never been bumped or hit, does not have any parking lot dings and absolutely not a spec of rusty anywhere. The interior is flawless with not a thread popped or out of place, there are no cracks or wrinkles in the leather upholstery. Underneath, inside the wheel well and under the hood are as clean as the body. You will not find any nicer well cared for SS anywhere than this one. Price $18,000.00 Thank you
  13. I have a matiqously maintained black 03 in West Ga. Just turned 55,000 miles, always garaged in a heated and cooled shop. Never bumped or hit, original paint , never hit or bumped, no Walmart dings of dents. The lnterior is flawless with out a thread out of place. You can see my ad here 55,000 Mile Pampered 2003 SS Silverado. Problem is I am firm at $20,000.00 buy it has new High Performance Nitto tires with a little over 2,000 miles. Transmission was totally serviced last winter, all hoses and belts replaced, new battery. Read the ad and if you want pictures send me your email address
