  1. Right as far as I knew as long as my front and rear diff ratios match I should be ok as the T-case is basically one to one transfer correct?

So what I am hearing is that this case should function with my SSS. And if anything I can utilize the gears from my old case if need be?

My main concern with this case is that when it fell (%#£?!) it knocked something like shaft seats or bearing seats out of alignment. So I always have this whine coming from it when I'm driving. Almost sounds like a supercharger... But sad to say... It isn't...:-(

  2. Hello Guys. My T-Case appears to be on its last legs again and I am shopping for a new (used) one for the time being as I believe the case I have is not going to be salvageable( it was dropped from the lift upon install)

    My question is:

What is the rundown of which vehicles contain the compatible T-Case for my 2003 SSS

Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

  3. I'm slightly confused and getting somewhat frustrated. I bought my Denali earlier this year, and it was running great with no problems. I was trying to diagnose a vibration/noise after awhile, and the local GMC dealer said it was the T/C and it needed rebuilt. I got the T/C rebuilt by a GM tech friend with all new bearings, seals, and chain. Since that time, I've been trying to figure out why I continue to have a T/C leak.

When I reinstalled the T/C, I filled it with just over two quarts of Mobil 1 ATF. The T/C began leaking after the first drive as I could smell the ATF and the leak was present on the underside. I thought I had just overfilled it, so I checked the level daily for two weeks to see how much it dropped off. it finally stopped leaking when I dropped from around 1600mL to around 1125mL as drained from the T/C. I refilled it again with new M1 ATF, and it again started leaking until around 1125mL give or take.

The yoke doesn't have a groove or wear marks, and the seal continues to look brand new when checked. It only leaks when driven so could pressure be building up in the T/C pushing ATF out?

Any advice on this issue or possible causes? My T/C did not have the weep hole from the pump rub, and I had the kit from Merchant installed to correct. Did this kit change the overall volume to fill the T/C?

    Thanks,

    Kerry

Have you considered transmission issues?? Or I guess I should ask if the trans is original??? There could be pressure building up in the T-Case from a malfunctioning rear shaft seal in the trans and it is pushing fluid into the T-case. I have seen this happen. Also it could be the cheap gaskets that GM uses in there rebuild kits.

Also, I am pretty sure ATF is incorrect to be using in your T-Case especially if it's All-time All-Wheel drive. What you need to be using is that Blue T-Case fluid only found at the dealership. It's pricey but meant for this applications viscosity(again especially if it All-time All-whell drive) requirements and you only need one quart anyway.

    Good luck

P.S. These are just my two cents and I am in no way a reliable source. Just trying to pass on what knowledge I have through experience.

  4. alright im 99% sure it wont work ask the seller to look and see if the t-case has a sales code on it of SP, or TJ or if the vehcial was alltime AWD like our trucks it will work... if the other vechial has options on 2wd,4wd,4lo it will not fit which my computer show he dose

    hope this helps

Alright cool. Where would he find this Sales Code of SP or TJ???? I will ask if it is all-time or changeable..

  5. I won't be buying them! Just bc of the fact of you going up on price. I don't think it was a mistake though. Like I said, it looks as if you changed your mind. Whatevers clever though, good luck with the sale. Just wanted it to be noted of you jacking up the price.

Damn bro gettin heated round here!!! HAHAHAHA. Does seem kinda shady though...

    Hey hows the build comin????

    Hope all is well

  7. As the title says I found a great deal on a 2002 Denali T-case and want to know if it will fit on my 2003 Silverado SS All wheel drive.

My T-case was dropped from the lift when I had the tranny done and whines throughout the RPMS's.

I have replaced the planetary and seals/bearings, installed new cases etc. I believe it to be an issue with a shaft mounting point that may have been compromised during the fall and I will lose my mind trying to figure out which shaft was affected.

So I am just going to eradicate the entire beast altogether.

I am sure that this has been answered many times before but I need a quick response!!

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated!!

  8. Hello I am in need on the plastic cover that goes behind the seat position buttons.

This cover/bracket attaches to the seat.

My seats are dark grey but I do not care what color the cover/bracket is as it is a hard piece to find

    I could also use :

    the seat bottom leather

    gauge cluster sight glass

    pass side front door cladding

Spare tire crank cover on rear bumper

    My truck is arrival blue

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated
