  1. Yea, I told the muffler shop I wanted to keep most the stock exhaust and they ended up getting rid of all of it and running 3" all the way. Maybe this is a sign I need to add more power lol
  2. I went with the 3" I/O that's offset on one side and centered on the other. It's basically just straight through with no chambers or anything just perforated tube.
  3. I just put my new Texas-Speed longtubes on had an exhaust shop put a custom dual 3" to magnaflow hi-flow cats and mufflers then 3" tailpipes. I'm kind of regretting going with the 3" now. It sounds a little ratty when you get on it. Any solutions? I thought about putting in an X-pipe or using different mufflers. and maybe the dumping the tailpipes behind the axel. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.
  4. Just an update, its been a pain in the a$$ getting these on. - Manifold bolt head was gone, had to extract it out, no big deal. -During mock up had a bolt break off flush with the head, drilled it out. -Finally got them on and realized the O2 sensor wouldn't fit because it was hitting the floor of the truck, had to take it off and relocate new O2 bung. - Put them back on and noticed the trans cooler lines were touching the header, had to relocate them. - Trying to find a muffler shop to connect these to my exhaust was a pain, noone really wanted to touch them and if they did they wanted a rediculous amout even with me suppying flanges, gaskets, cats, some exhaust and mufflers. Anyways... its at the muffler shop now and hopefully getting done right. I guess the lesson I learned was to either buy shorty headers for easy install or get a more expensive kit that comes with components that fit better.
  5. Yea I'm hoping the installation goes good and everything fits up nice. The Headers and gaskets were around $400 to my door. Stage 8 bolt kit, flanges and cut-outs were like $100???
  6. Throwing these on soon, going to do electric cut-outs eventually.

  11. Hey thanks! They're 20's. So far nothing has been done to the suspension, thinking of lowering it but I still want the capability of towing, maybe airbags? Tires are Falken Ziex S/TZ04, they didn't do too bad for an all season tire.
  12. I picked up an 03' SS in the spring of last year. It's been a great truck, it's my daily driver, boat puller and weekend autocrosser. Went to the 4 wheel parts Jamboree in Indy and took 2nd place in Truckin' Magazines Autocross Throwdown, it was a blast and I think I'm hooked.
