Well you would gain 40-60 HP with the engine swap. Maybe some mpg's. The reluctor wheel is different so you would need the harness adapter from lingenfelter to go from the 24 tooth of the 5.7 to the 58 tooth the truck uses.

Would you guys run pistons with valve reliefs or not? I'm looking into getting an LQ4 for the salvage yard and rebuilding it. Summit has dished and flat top. I'll most likely do flat top, but for either they offer a valve relief. Whats the valve relief for, and which would you guys go with? I'm doing a NA no spray build.
