ummmm....what?
-
That's the meanest sounding Cadillac I have ever seen/heard!
-
Damn good example of how a ss should be
-
It's close to 3-1/2" in the front, just toyed with the torsion keys until I got it where I liked it, still rides great and haven't had any issues yet!
-
I didn't really plan on it, i am not a big fan of tonue covers in general. The only one I somewhat dig is the speedstur but even that one I dislike the way it goes at an angle around the tail lights. So far it doesn't have a smell to it, but it also doesn't see a whole lot of rain hahaha.... I guess I'll just have to play it by smell lol

Thanks guys! The wifey is definently a keeper, she spent her Friday night with me washing, claybaring and waxing the truck!

If done right you will not need the c-notch kit for the 3/4 djm kit. I have the exact same setup and ended up not using my c-notch kit....now it just sits around getting in my way lol.

is this stuff done with hyrdographics? that shit is neat

I have tried to sell this locally, but to avail I figured I would post it on here. I bought this kit from Tony earlier this year, so it will come with everything his kits come with. I would love to do deal locally, but if I have to ship I will but at buyers expense. I have it listed for 200 but for the SSS guys I would let it go for 150. here is the link to the cl ad http://wichita.craigslist.org/pts/3855765467.html
Just need it gone, tired of tripping over it lol my apartment is too small for truck parts to be laying around

Had to lock that shit down!! lol
-
man you could drive naked in that thing and no one would ever know lol
-
The local exhaust shop had supplied them, I just told them what I was looking for and they did the rest. I am sure you could probably pick them up at any exhaust place.
-
Yeah it has some pretty good droning to it on the inside lol, but I actually kind of like it that way, it probably sounds a lot deeper on the inside then on the outside. It gives you that hot rod sound on the inside without being overly obnoxious to everyone else on the outside hahaha. I ended it at that location more or less to hide/tuck the exhaust

Congratulations on your marriage Aaron.
Your trucks stance looks sweet. 20 or 22 inch wheels?
Love the look of plenty of rubber sidewall in the wheel wells.
Thanks my man, those are the stock 20's with the stock tire size 275/55/R20 (I think that is the stock size lol). I love me some rubber on my wheels

Id trade my SS for an SRT-10 any day. After my Audi totaled out I originally was looking for an Srt-10 bu never came across one locally, so I settled for the SS lol

Thanks for all the great compliments! I have been busy busting ass trying to get it ready for this weekend as I am getting married and wanted a cool get away vehicle for after the reception lol. The bedrug I think was just at $450, but I am not exactly sure as it was a wedding gift from my fiance (sp?). She knew how I despised the scratched up bed and surprised me with this last night. She got it from a local shop here called Truck Stuff, I guess she ordered it Saturday and it was here by Monday I was pleasantly surprised!

adjusted the torsion keys another 1/2" to try and get it to sit more level (set up is the djm 3/4 drop with belltech SP shocks)
redipped the bowtie and grilles
ditched the old stock muffler for one of these
installed
shitty video, ill try to get a better one later
and last but not least got my Bedrug installed last night
-
very nice indeed, Congrats!
-
oh so you lowered the back to get it level? I thought you leveled out the front. I need to adjust the front to get mine level as I have a bit of a reverse rake going on right now lol. When I had my kit installed the shop told me there was only about a 1/2" difference between the holes.
-
If you put 3" LCA's on your truck you will lose almost all your tension on your keys. So you'll loose alot of play with your bolts. This is because with lca's they index your tarsion bars different than the stock lca's which lower the front hence taking tension of your keys. Atleast thats how my truck worked... But the lca's ride so good along with the Belltech Street perf. Shocks..
So how did you level yours out then?
-
I have 3" LCA's up front then i can go another inch if wanted if i were to back them all the way out. When my drop was first installed i had em backed out and i was down prolly a bit over 4". Alignment shop said they wouldnt even attempt to give me an alignment because it wont even be close to there standards. Lol. And the cv's woulda been toast after a year prolly. I do drive my truck alot!! So i raised it back up. I think mines around 3.25 "ish" of an inch dropped up front. " EVERYONES SUSPENSIONS GONNA BE DIFFERENT" more people do towing than others. Some suspensions will be worn out more than others
yeah I have the same set up, I am only looking to lower my front about 1/4"-1/2" more (basically to do like you and level mine out). I was just wondering what the ratio was so I didn't take it to far down. Anyone know that formula turns per drop? Also can you back out the torsion bolt without a torsion bar clamp??
-
Hey cmoney23, do you know about how much the front end drops with per full turn of the torsion key bolt? I am needing to level mine out here soon
-
im rocking the stock tire size....I believe its 275/55/r20.... don't quote me on that though lol
