  1. Getting a bad shudder/noise at 39-43mph and 1250RPM or so with the truck in 'D' while lightly cruising, Throw it in 3rd and it goes away. Pretty sure it's the convertor trying to lock. Gotta get a buddy to hop in the truck with me with a programmer and force it to lock to confirm.
  2. Well, I'm pretty sure my TC is dieing. So I need a replacement. Truck is bone stock and staying that way. So what's my best bet? Just get another stock TC (for $475 ugh... )? It's a daily driver and I do some LIGHT towing now and then (16" fiberglass Bass Tracker boat). I'm not looking for performance in any way. Thanks guys
  3. Wody, had you played any of the previous CoD games before 4? Just curious, as an avid CoD fan, I'm glad they went back to WWII style. That's what the game started on, and what it should stay as. I enjoyed 4 very much, but it just wasn't the same, though many people who hadn't played the previous games fell in love with it. I only hope those (including you) can fall in love with the game it used to be (which I hope it will be with 5). I only play it on PC, I can't play FPS's on consoles. Though I do have a few buddies that will be on 360 and won't play it on PC do to lack of machine specs. Oh, you can also get in the beta by pre-ordering it through gamestop/other chain stores.
  4. This version of the "Charlie bit me" video is much funnier (NSFW)
  5. Nope, it had to do with an engine package. Although he's talked about it many times on the forums, he's never really gotten nasty about it, and is now running a setup that is FAR superior quality and power-wise to what he was going to get from them. Sometimes things work out in the end, and I hope that it does for you!
  6. Ugh....I hope you can get this all worked out man, what a shame. It's pathetic that people such as yourself get dicked over by supposedly reputably companies. It could have been worse though, there was a guy on the 'Vette forums that was dicked out of nearly 20k by MTI
  7. Absolutely amazing! Hope she has a smooth recovery! I just can't imagine what is involved in a surgery like that
  8. Nice lookin setup! Can't wait to see more pictures after you get the filtration system setup and get through the first couple cycles.
  9. Non-smokers will typically get a slight nicotine buzz for a few minutes, but thats about it.
  10. I gotta offer my best wishes to you WODY bud. I've wanted to do the same for a while, but just can't deal with it at the time being. I've had quite a few reptiles in the past, am quite used to the intensive upkeep. Most people can't deal with the upkeep of a 5' Savanna Monitor, or the like. I know 04Chase (bastard, thats MY name, get your own foo'!) has a GORGEOUS Chameleon, and they're a bitch to keep. Having 'crazy' pets has it's rewards, and lots of people want them, but they just don't understand what it takes. Good luck bud, I demand PICS PICS PICS!
  11. Well my buddy with the RCSB and 41's live in the Outter Banks,NC so it was basically a beach truck, lots of guys down there drive big ol' trucks. He's sold the truck by now, and drives a Tacoma built from 3 different trucks with a 400hp small block 350 now, it's lifted of course on 37's I believe. No real mud duty for the most part (He did drive to take some mud trips a few times, but rarely). Either way, I friggin love big trucks, they're just so cool looking! What can I say, I love cars and trucks! I love fast cars, I love fast trucks, and I love big ol' trucks. I pretty much love anything with an engine.....cars/trucks, jetski's/boats, quads/dirtbikes, tractors/lawn mowers, nitro RC/Cars, etc. If it has an engine, I'm paying attention!
  12. Big trucks rule! Funny that I ended up with an SS when my dream truck growing up was a friends 94 SCSB lifted 12" with 41's. Love those Blazers, I'll build either a Blazer or Silvy one of these days when I move to an area where theres more mud Is that a Mountain Dew can in the front fender-well in the first pic?
  13. Shit! Wody already said eggs.... Eggo Waffles! (Yeah, try and find a food the begins with '!', I WIN!)
  14. Favorite...no. Would have to say '69 as well, however I would totally rock one as they are sexy as hell.
  15. Yup....a baby Iguana, Monitor, etc would take care of the little buggers pretty quick. But then they'd wanna hide in all the nooks and crannies too so you'd have to get them out as well
  16. I'm the same as you bud! Hauls the dirtbike/quad, lumber, etc. Goes where I need it to, hauls what I want, tows the boat, and looks good while doing so!
  17. You and me both! I've shown the pics of his setup to a lot of my bud's who like my truck, and everyone loves the idea of an MN6 in it. I'm sure it could have been made to work with a super heavy duty clutch, but that would just take all the fun out of driving it. Too bad, but at least you can enjoy it now! Just how many clutches did you go through? I wanna say I remember you mentioning at least 3 or 4....
  18. The last few pics mentioned. Notice the rotary shaped exhaust on the Mazda. The pictures just don't do this thing justice, it was so unbelievably gorgeous and awesome looking. All pics were taken on my little 7.1MP Sony Cybershot, my buddy had his Cannon Rebel XT with him, maybe he got some better shots at different angles. It was a pain trying to get decent pictures of the cars as you have to push your way through the crowd of people, and stand right at the edge of the display which was too close to get full pictures. I kept going back to the ZR1 to just drool......I must admit I got a boner at one point I didn't take a picture, but they even had a silver C6 hanging on a platform suspended from the ceiling, it was pretty cool (Edit: You can see it at the top of the picture of the rear end of the ZR1). There were tons of cars that I didn't bother taking pictures of, I just took pictures of the ones I wanted memories of seeing, and only posted the half way decent pic's. If my buddy took some better pics, or different ones I'll be sure to post them. It's pretty overwhelming being there, I don't have ADD but I felt like I did, theres cars everywhere! Not to mention some gorgeous models
  19. I have a few more, specifically of a really cool Mazda concept race car, Travis Pastrana's STi, and the Saleen Raptor, but it's telling me I can't post any more pics
  20. Went to the auto show today with a couple buds and snapped some pics. Figured I'd post some of them up, my favorite was the ZR1 of course
  21. Nice glasses, all I wear are Oakley's. All I wear now are the Splices, specifically These (Crystal Black/Grey)....My current pair is Crystal Black/Silver though (bought about 3 years ago). The frame is see-through blue, with silver outlines. I love these glasses so much I have 2 more pairs on order for backup, just incase mine break/get lost. I've got horrible luck with glasses as far as scratching the lense or breaking them.....one of my old pairs I had on my head, bent down to grab a tool and scratched the lens on the edge of my tool box less then 2 hours after buying them, that kind of crap seems to happen to me a lot. Somehow though these have lasted me a while and I absolutely love them.
  22. I'd stay away from Crapsmen if I were you, I won't touch that garbage with a ten foot pole. I grew up with a father who only ever owned John Deer, and thats what I own. The honda's are pretty awesome too, IIRC one of the honda's got the best ratings last year.
  23. Yup, my neighbors pull the same shit. Mother, Father, two sons, a daughter, and the daughters husbad, all living in the house. They always have the driveway filled with at least 5 cars (plus 2 in the garage) and still have to park 2 in front of the house, and 2 in front of the house across the street. Then theres the friends always coming over parking in front of my house, the house across from me, and in front of other houses. I'm friends with the two sons, the daughter and her hubby as they're all in their late 20's. However I got fed up with the fact that in the winter, because they always have the cars parked on the road, I not only had to shovel my driveway but about 5 feet into the road because the plow couldn't get close with cars in the way. The father tries to be friendly, but I laid into him a few times about crap like this. I shouldn't have to do extra shoveling because they have too many cars, the father has 4 or 5 cars himself! And he doesn't even drive them. Also, considering I actually use my driveway, the road in front of MY house should be for MY friends/family/guests. I also came home one day to a young child playing with the hose at the top of my driveway inches from my Z06, he ran away when he saw me pull in. I walked into their backyard and asked whos kid it was. It was the fathers brothers kid, he had walked into my driveway, turned on my house and been playing with it, soaking my Z in the process. One of the sons immediatly grabbed some terrycloth towles to carefully dry my car I guess, however minutes later the kid was back there playing with the hose again. I looked at the father and said "Sam, this has nothing to do with you, so please don't take offense to what I'm going to say" and laid into the uncle about how irresponsible and rude it is to let his kid run around my property playing with my hose which I have to pay for, near my car, etc. I told him if I ever spotted him or his son on my property again I was going to call the cops, all the while I had my dog with me, and she really doesn't like my neighbors for whatever reason. Haven't seen the **** park in front of my house since. People piss me off.
