So Dyno guy just called and said the wheel base wont work said "99% of AWD dynos go to 136in", and Our wheel base is 143.5(please correct me if I am wrong) no no please correct me. Anyone know of a good Dyno shop in Virginia so I can get some real numbers besides guessing. I know I am in the 400 range easily. I apologize if it seems like I am taking over your thread just trying to get numbers for ya.

plan on going to get dyno'd in a couple weeks. I have pretty much the same setup so I will give you a base line.
What I have done:
-crane cam pn: 1449551 baby cam but real torque monster- hot rod mags 6.0 hop up II
-long tube heads
-l92 heads
-all bolt ons
-built trans
-3000-3200(Idk) stall (monster trans) go with yank don't make my mistake
-90mm throttle body
-efans from pcmofNC
- built 4l60e trans. spared no expense
next step is to pull engine and have it bored to 408ci then build from ground up with built 4l80 and On3performance twin turbo. To think all I really wanted was to burn all 4s.

Those hoods look pretty good, but if he could make something like this, I would be in for sure. Even at a higher cost.
x2 I'll throw down big money no whammys for this, I was thinking ZL1 scoop but this has it beat.

$ sent with note (blue) I have been waiting along time for this.

I'm game

Will do this was the first time replacing heads but brother In-law was there for guidance. He let me learn the hard way. I could easily do this swap in about 2 1/2 to little over 3 hours So if any one runs into any problems I've most likely ran into it with this build. Took so long I didn't have time to swap the comp cam I bought.
subscribed .... im putting the L92 top end on my truck aswell keep us posted on how it goes

Just next day aired a tune from PCM forless, I started it because I got ancy and wanted to go fast. Ha but thanks I hope it solves the it if not I'm going to have to take more leave or buy a plane ticket back to colorado. Which would probably be cheaper.

And no retune yet

Used the throttle body adapter from FAST(so stock until I can get a new one). Then used the stock 6.2l fuel rail with the original SS injectors( not sure what the xlink is for).
-
Ok switched over to l92 heads using 6.2l truck intake manifold after adding fluids and starting the truck up for the first time it idles at about 4 I then slowly goes down to around 1100 or so before it says engine reduced power then shuts off. That's when I received the 068( engine reduced power)and p0101 then p0102 so after some research and changing out the maf and map sensor I go to start it up again and same thing happens.
Haven't checked any vacuum lines but there was only one that even got touched during the build
Anyone have an idea

look up HOT ROD mag. 6.0l hop up article there are two articles with lots of numbers posted, almost a how too in a certain sense.
p.s same route im going, got the parts just need to find time to put them all on and a beater to drive.
-
I was seing if by some luck that the stock intake would work. So looks like ill be ordering some more parts
Thanks everyone for the Help and if anyone is looking to get rid of a l92 intake mani, let me know ill take it off your hands.
-
Ok, As I sit here in my Drunkin stuper multitasking watching Duck Dynasty and reading forum and article after article I know that the L92 heads will most definetly fit the LQ9 but is there any modification needed as far as Different Head gaskets for the stock intake manifold or do I need to uprade to a Fast LSXrt manifold or Ls3 manifold.
Ps already bought the L92 heads(fully assembled) so im fully commited at this point. If theres already a Post about this I appologize in Advance.

I'm a little late on this one but who did you take it to for the tune? I am having my brother in-law drop the new EROD L376/525 into my 04 SSS due to the fact I am currently deployed. Trans is also being upgraded (mad dog trans 4L70e level 4). Any suggestions weither neg/pos will be great.
p.s. from shelbyville, IN that is where my SSS is currently located

3. easy install
4. great price for quality work
