I like that idea!
-
It still has the 100rpm shift flare from 2-3 but not all the time. Only happens with soft acceleration
-
Exactly what I just found. PO757 is what code got thrown. My last transmission hesitated from 2-3 with oem convertor. Just changed transmissions and this one is doing the same 2-3 deal with the 3200 stall. Any ideas?

I'll let you know

I had no choice today ha. Hopefully it's in limp mode because of not being tuned for the stall.
-
Just found this. Seems like what is going on. I'll let you guys know when my tune comes in. This may also help other people out.
What is "limp-home mode" ? This is a fault mode in which the transmission either loses electrical power or the PCM deactivates all of the electronics. The transmission will default to max line pressure. The driver will have Reverse and 3rd, with manual 2nd available by putting the gearshift in 2 or 1 (doesn't matter). 1st, 4th, and TCC lockup will not be available. It will not hurt the car to drive it like this for short periods, but use manual 2nd to get the car moving, and be aware that the trans will generate more heat than normal while operating in limp-home mode due to increased torque converter slippage during 2nd gear starts and no lockup in 3rd gear.
-
My trans recently blew so I got one from a junkyard. While I was at it I installed a 3200 stall. Well everything was okay until today my cel came on. My truck leaves from a stop in 2nd gear and the tc won't lock up. The trans won't go in 1st manually either. The gear selector goes in but the PCM won't let it. I have a tune on the way

I just sold the cam I had haha

A friend of mine is selling a holly intake manifold, would it be a waste for me to bolt it on? My mods are 3200 stall, volant cai, pacesetter long tubes, cat delete and a Nelson tune.

What is a fair price for someone to pay for my stock wheels with no tires. Wheels are in great shape. Thanks

My dad spotted a red lowered ss near lorton Virginia. Said it looked good

They bearings are what hum. Other ppl had a hard time hearing mine but it drove me nuts. Take it back and have the shop put new bearings in it
-
I bought my truck this year with 37,000
Miles. Two weeks later I started to hear the humming. When I
Let off the gas the humming went away. My local Chevy dealership put new bearings in the front diff and it's been fine ever since. Cost me 800$.

03 arrival blue, 100% stock, I owner, not 1 scratch, 37k miles, payed 17,000 about 6 months ago
-
I started with volant cold air, then pacesetter lOngtubes and a mail order tune. I think e fans are next
-
That's a sweet video
-
The other day I cut the wheel and floored it and all four broke loose but I let off haha. I know this f****r will do one. I have long tubes, tune and cold air. One of these days I'll get a vid. As for the snow hopefully mine will never see it cause it hasn't seen any since it was new. The salt they Put on the roads in Pennsylvania will kill a vehicle quick

My Pacesetters have a tag so that can almost be ruled out
My pacesetters have a tag but only on one header
-
Oh okay, what about just the tb, or stock ls3 injectors once I cam
-
-
Ya I love that vid. Has anyone done it nearly stock?
-
I have an 03 ss and got all four tires to break loose on
Dry pavement with the wheel cut a little. Didn't have the balls to try a cyclone yet though. My buddy says he does cyclones bone stock on dry pavement, has anyone done it, I'm
Itching but I don't want to destroy
My drivetrain

I think the Jasper's are close to 2g and like I said I got mine fixed for 800. The awd front differentials form early to mid 2000s were portly designed and this is a common problem. Also happened to my buddies Denali at 40k
-
I heard it at highway speeds. To make sure it's not a wheel bearing, get yourself on a straight highway, accelerating up to where you hear the hum. Hold your speed so the hum is constant. If you let off the gas and it goes away until you hit the gas again, most likely you need new bearings in your diff. At the dealership mine was a little over 800$ to fix
Stall convertor problems, help!
