Alright well now I fix the idle thing.. Now my truck is back to doing the REP again.. I had a problem with this last time and I rechecked the ground wire and it looked good. I'm thinking it's the throttle body due to these other symptoms I had. Any other guesses I should throw at it? I cleared the codes the other day I'll have to go recheck which codes tomorrow as I'm at work atm.

Alright guys i cleaned it and it seemed to solve everything i dont have idle drop or anything anymore cruised on it for about an hour so hopefully it was the fix

How would you clean the maf sensor? I already checked my tb that was my first suspect and its clean.

Hello, First off I still have a 5.3 engine on a 04 silverado.
This last saturday the weather went down to single digits and I'm not quite sure if this is what caused it or not. It never really gets that cold. Well anyways ever since then everytime I have the truck in "drive" the RPM will drop and eventually die on me and sometimes it right when I get to a complete stop so I cant even drive on the main roads now. Also in "park" the rpm wont drop so sudden but if I leave it running 5 or so minutes I'll eventually walk out to a dead truck. What could be causing this? My check engine light dont work so I'm not sure if i'm throwing a code I'll go check later today or tomorrow. Anyways what could be some causes of this?

Haha yeah I feel ya. I bought a lot a couple years ago, so now just trying to get a trailer on it. December the last month for my lease so hopefully by the 1st of Jan I can will have it.

Are you sure its the fog lens you need because these trucks never came with fog lights but I am sure you know that.

yeah just the len or housing what ever it may be called. And mines not a actuall SS i have the fog lights on my truck sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, I want to get a cam for my truck but I'm currently trying to save up for a double wide mobile home. I'm tired of wasting money for rent on a apartment when I could just rather own something instead.

ha yeah. I just got tired of the tan interior and wanted something different so I was expermenting. But it doesnt bother how it sat in those pics. Only thing I need now is a black headliner and nothing will be left of the tan except the carpet and then the seats are a very light grey. Those can stay that way.

The fuse panel,speaker cover, the bar are black. I painted them cause a friend of mine wanted to see the outcome and then we swapped pieces. Yes it was to much red for me, but if he didnt like it I would of just resprayed them black myself. Only thing red is the center consol, airvents on the dash the bezel and the window control are red.

I like that. I keep debating that or a 3/5 but I'm leaning more towards a 2/4. If I go 3/5 would I have rubbing issues?
