  2. Hey all, I just installed switchback turn signals in the front, as well as the resistors. They work but hyperslash. Should I just cut the pin on the relay to fix? I was sort of under the impression that they should work completely with just the resistors installed. When I put my hazards on they work perfect. Only when turning on a turn signal do they hyperflash.

Here is a vid, pretty sure you can see it, i made it public.

  3. So I will be moving from Dallas to Shreveport in Aug of next year. I am curious to know if my truck, 2005 2wd stock suspension could bumper pull a 2 car trailer... WITH AIR BAGS... i will install air bags of course for the towing needs plus for future towing. I towed my 2002 Trans Am with a Uhaul trailer in July and It pulled it just fine, the power handled it with ease. Sagged a bit due to not being able to really manipulate the load on the trailer. With a 2 car bumper pull I could arrange the cars easier. I am thinking what, 10k lbs for both cars plus a trailer??? IMO the 6.0 with 373s and tranny cooler could do this like nothing. I do have access to a weight distributing hitch if needed. Can it do it? Would be pulling the Trans am and a 2012 BMW 135i...

Here it is pulling the trans am

  4. Just going through the threads cuz I need shocks.... Yall really threw Tony around on this one. He works his butt off for everyone, then gets 2 ppl to commit after I just read another thread and counted at least 15 lol.... Goes through all the bells and whistles, becomes a vendor, then gets no one... Really shady all... ANYWAY!!!

Sorry Tony, I will be buying your shocks, right now actually lol... no idea why i would need a swaybar, but it may be in the future. Ill be using you for any suspension related stuff in the future. thanks for all you do

  5. I raced a stock 350z convertible or what it looked like anyways, from 0-70... I am volant CAI only. There was maybe 1 foot between his rear bumper and my front bumper. Totally unexpected result. Thought I would get blown away. Power to weight a stock 350z will beat an SS everyday.

Aint taking away the win from you, but, that guy has literally no idea how to drive.

  6. THANK YOU guys for that update. I will pull them again tomorrow and apply my own layer. Better safe then sorry. I am LOVING the look tho. Def worth the pricetag. Also have a Gluxlite LED kit coming in the mail, should be here next week. Cant wait to install that!

I had the same issue with mine. So when i bought a new smoked pair the firs thing i did was run some extra silicone on it, and my smoked ones never had any moisture buildup.

Do you have any pictures of your Carbon Fiber interior trim?? I am VERY interested in that

  7. I personally think that they should of made this truck in a 4x4 configuration. Turn it on when needed and keep it off other times. My father in law has a 2004 AWD SS, and when it iced down here in Dallas last month, I had to borrow his truck so my wife could get to work. Talk about ****ing confidence man. That truck was a freaking boss! I dont care what anyone says, having driven both of them literally 5 minutes apart, my RWD SS is just as fast, and alot faster from any speed roll. The AWD from a roll really sucks the power.

I just wish I could press a button and turn it on and off. That would be best of both worlds.

  8. So the original thread on how to cut open your stock taillights no longer displays the OP's pics... So I decided to buy a set from eBay. I was not too keen in cutting up my stockers anyways, because to me, id rather have a clear lens in there then nothing at all. Plus I am keeping all my stock parts, just in case blah blah blah.

So for around $90 shipped to my door, I ordered a set from eBay. Very glad I did as I think it looks very clean. Just wanted to post in case others were thinking about doing the same.

  9. Thanks for the additional information. I do not mind adding a new fuel pump. I have dropped the tank before to raise my truck back up so its not too hard. Just gotta be low on gas! And looks like I would def get a tune by one of the guys on here whether it be zippy or blackbear. Some great information and I appreciate it 10 fold. Looks like i will also get a stall while building the tranny. This more then likely wont be for a few years, but just wanted to check my options and get my ducks in a row while I can. I like to have every detail planned out to the T so that everything runs smoothly.

  10. Yes sir, Eddie (SS truck) just bought a bran new TVS 2300 for his SSS from Brian at the above link. He was 100% satisfied.

This is why i Love the internet. Thank you all who have responded so far. I will more then likely do a TVS 2300 with full exhaust, Tune, and built tranny. with the cost of the S/C... I may just repair the tranny when it breaks. I will be putting a shift kit and servos in it, and leaving the stock stall for now... unless you guys recommend a stall... This isnt a daily driver so it can break and sit for a bit.

  11. I have no issues using a better supercharger then the Radix. I am a full supporter of buy the best and dont regret, however, I am not really seeing the tvs1900 or 2300 anywhere for these trucks. If I can find it I would def do the 2300, since its larger and will give better goals, and upgrad a bility. I do need it to be a full bolt on kit like the Radix tho, so that it is easier to install. Any idea where you find these?

I do also agree, I may want to do the tranny first so I am not stuck without the truck for a long period of time
