I live in Houston but my grandma lives out in Odessa and have cousins in midland. I go there about once a year. Oil field is really only jobs out there right now.

I'm sure your gonna have to cut up the rear end to get them to fit go. What size lip are you going with? I think 2 1/2 inches is the most you can go without cutting up anything. I might be wrong though so maybe someone else could chime in

It's a hard decision lol. The truck will be a dd but be built. Just want the ss as it's not really seen that much in the Pasadena area in Houston. Cause the nnbs are typical around here and don't like something common. Just don't know if I can go from new to older. My friend had an intimidator and I feel in love since then. Maybe I need to test drive one

Well guys I have a 09 silverado but always wanted a Silverado ss. Just don't know if I can go from new to older if you know what I mean. I just like that the ss has both looks and speed and from Houston you see a lot of the nnbs everywhere. Just want something different wand wanna see if y'all were in my shoes what would you do? Looking into a red 05 ss 30k miles or getting a red ext nnbs and swap a 6.0 or 6.2 in it

Are you comparing ecsb silverados with different engines? Did they run at the same time? Too many variables on the table here......
Well I would think the nnbs crew can is heavier ten a SS. correct me if I'm wrong but a 6.2 in a SS I think would be a good build

idk it might be a good swap. friend of mine with a 6.2 headers and stall has hit 13 flat. another friend with a ISS hit 13 flat with intake headers cam and stall.

I would say 550-600. Don't know where your at but in houston I see them for like 800 with tire. 22 replica go for 1500 with tire down here

Depends on what you want out of the truck. I love my Awd I don't want another Rwd.
well when i do decide wether AWD or RWD it will get fully built seeing that with alot of power that the front on the AWD breaks or messes up so just trying to do more reserch before i jumo in on one i dont like

Neither. Get the borla xr-1. You won't regret it. Not that loud at idle but it will scream when WOT. Had buddies run magna flow and it just wasent what I wanted. Ill try to post a clip later.

Thanks guys for the welcome and complements. Truck has a 4 7 drop. And yes will get bigger rims if I don't get an SS! And the vent is just screwed on the hood.
