but what you are not getting is that the 6.2 is NOT avaliable on any silverado the only GMT9000 to have it is the GMC QC pick up. yea a 6.0L is nice, but the 6.2 is going to blow that fish out the water.

hey all, just found a good deal on some used Dynatech headers and wanted everybody's input. They have about 11k miles on them and come with all hardware and gaskets. the cats are new, the crossover pipe is new too. I have a corsa sport so I am expecting it to go a bit louder Is there anything I should ask? is this a deal for these headers?($900) or could I have new pacesetters for that A part of me says wait and get something more substantial or needed to go faster (ie fuel system parts) or the least desirable (since I did not get my new laptop) get some tuning software. anyway I have the weekend to get your advise some make it helpful

STS truck ran 11.xx so they are fast, but it take some fine tuning. check out LS1trucks.com they talk about them more over there.

just curious but how did you plan on connecting the two? I have heard it is better to get them bare and weld your connectors and then get them coated, but it does not answer the cat pipe???

Glad someone is still around so quiet here lately I say boosted, I am still amazed we are not talking about how that guy went 11.xx with an STS. Front mount might be a challenge (underhood temps) but I wont want to line up against anything you are runnning Quik I want to see TT, with them mid mount, like that TBSS guy has them, a smaller turbo but it might have better boost characteristics (SP )
