    There are pictures of everything on the Facebook group since that is way easier to add photos there than Tapatalk.

     

    Grille and engine covers are the things people seem most interested in so I’ll be boxing them up and getting estimates from ups today on shipping for anyone that already posted a zip code.

     

    The dudes on the fb group were quick on the draw though.

    Time to clean out the garage a bit. All parts coming off of a 2004 Silverado that had give or take 74k miles at the time I got it. Should fit all models of similar years and all that jazz. Make some offers!

     

    New never installed headlights (drive and passenger side)

     

    Driver side after market (not sure on brand) marker light

     

    After market headlight set up - on the truck when I bought it, wanted a stock look

     

    Exhaust manifolds, coming of the 6.0 LQ9. I have a set of gaskets too, don’t remember if they are from the dealer or came with the headers that replaced these.

     

    Fan and assembly shroud - this was on the truck until about 110k miles

     

    Driver side door control panel - never installed

     

    Stock air box/intake - all seals are still good, was replaced with a Volant almost immediately on purchase of vehicle

     

    Vortec 6000 engine cover - great shape some touch up on the silver vortec logo could be done if you want it to be perfect.

     

    Black 06+ SS grill - wrong year grill was on the truck when I bought it. Light scratch on the front to the left of the bow tie spot.

     

    Black billet Lower and brake duct grill inserts - on the truck when I bought it, wanted to return it all to original look

    I have a 2004 SSS AWD with 105ishK on it. Engine is stock LQ9, trans is stock, tune is stock, etc. A few months ago over on another forum I picked up an MP112 which I planned on installing this spring. As this was bought second (or third) hand it is not a complete kit and I have a few parts to obtain and the task of figuring out who to go through for a tune. The original plan was to accumulate these parts and information between buying the blower and now but I decided to buy a house for some reason which is limiting my truck funds. Some parts are being knocked out by trading with a buddy who also bought an MP112 around the same time so thats good. But I am looking for input, advice, or affirmation in heading in the right direction. I figure while I’m in there this might not be a bad time to upgrade to E-fans.

    Current mods include:

    • Volant CAI with bumper scoop

    • JBA Cat4ward headers

    • Magnaflow exhaust from high flow cats and back

    • MSD 8.5mm plug wires

    • NGK Iridium LX spark plugs #7397

    • Powerstop brakes with slotted and cross drilled rotors

    • Belltech Street Performance shocks

    The Tune:

    As far as the tune goes my buddy wants to start doing it, however neither of us have any experience doing it so not sure how keen I am to jump right into this. Was thinking of going with Blackbear, it looks like you can get free re-tunes? I’ve also heard that they have a crazy turn around time right now though.

     

    Does anybody know of better routes to go on any of these parts? As far as options, brands, models, vendors, and so on? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

    Hey don't mean to dredge up old topics but this hasn't been posted in since 7 months before I owned my truck so I didn't need these decals. I messaged kelleyperformance on here but to no avail. Anybody have a lead on the "supercharged" ones? Or a file that I can use to make my own since it looks like they are no longer produced? I'm surprised that no one has taken the time to piece together a ttf of this with as much time as we all spend on our computers cruising through these forums haha. Looking for silver or maybe red for under the badges and maybe for a cowl.

Anybody have a lead on the "supercharged" ones? Or a file that I can use to make my own since it looks like they are no longer produced? I'm surprised that no one has taken the time to piece together a ttf of this with as much time as we all spend on our computers cruising through these forums haha.   11. WTB Antenna delete cowl piece and a cat or two?

    Hey gang, looking to pick up one of those cowl pieces for the antenna delete mod. Dealership said they are discontinued. Part #15287179 They gave me a list of dealers that "could have a couple" between $31 and $19. I figure before I call 30 different places I'd see if you guys have any taking up space

    Part 2! While putting in my headers it was noticed that the passenger side cat was hacked out and a much smaller one was shoved back in it's place. Anyone have a stock passenger side cat they wouldn't mind parting with for a fair price? Would rather not drop 600 at the dealership. Considered replacing both with magnaflow but it's worth a shot checking in with you guys first. For dealer prices I might as well drop the extra $30 and replace both with magnaflow.

     

    So whatcha got? Located Metro Detroit (48125 for shipping)

    I don't check in here a ton, the facebook group keeps my needs pretty well met.

    Ya you should probably just get the 06 HD hood, if not you'll need the 03-05 color matched grill and a the diamond grill insert.

     

    I should have the pair of brake duct grills for 03-05 and lower bumper grill 03-05 diamond style.

    If you want to get rid of that grill let me know I need a new grill in that style

     

    As soon as I figure out my grill situation I will let you know. I haven't looked into the hood option too much yet but it feels like it might be cheaper to just grab a grill for $200 off of ebay and paint it.

    ​Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

     

    I grew up in Dearborn Heights but live in Dearborn now. I've seen you/your truck around the area before when I was cruising the town in my 98 Lumina. Only real issue right now is tracking down any of the grills. I found a hand full of year appropriate SS grills (as opposed to my current 06) on ebay, all of which are being sold by the same guy, but I figured I'll hold out a couple of days incase I stumble across one here. Those brake duct grills (non-billet) seem to be a real pain in the ass to track down so far.

     

    Looking forward to seeing where this adventure takes me.

    How goes it? I'm Eric from just outside of Detroit and I just bought an 04 last night. I have an experienced SS owner guiding me through everything but I'm sure I will still be here asking dumb questions from time to time. Current project: restore all of the grilles and the tail lights to normal. The wrong grill leaves an exposed hood latch and the tail lights are unevenly painted. So with that being said, anyone with spare diamond pattern grilles for an 04 that they could part with let me know!

    Hey gang! I pulled the trigger and bought a black 2004 SS, unfortunately the previous owner slapped on a grille that doesn't sit right with the hood because of the style change thereby leaving my hood latch exposed. Just looking at it you can tell it clearly isn't the right one for the truck. If anyone has one, or a lead on one, at a decent price let me know. I'm also looking for the lower vent grilles as these were replaced with billet and spray paint. I'd really rather not have the billet style but the main grille takes priority right now. I've found a few on ebay but figured if anyone here has one laying around maybe we could work something out. OR if you want to trade grilles for whatever reason that could be pretty rad too.

    I've attached a photo of the issue I was talking about, I could probably get a better pic at some point this week.
