    SPRING SKYLINE DRIVE CRUISE

Skyline Drive-Shenandoah National Park (Front Royal VA.)

Our winter skyline cruise was a huge success so we're at it again for spring time.
We will all meet at Rob's Carwash off of Route 3 in Fredericksburg (Harrison Crossing Shopping Center) and leave at 11am. EVERYONE is welcome to go any make and model car or truck even bikes.. Keep the fun runs and driving like you stole it mentality to the streets on the way there and back, but once we hit the gates keep it clean so we don't get unwanted attention.
The fee to get on Skyline is $10, make sure you have money in the bank.
We will stop a couple times on the mountain for pictures. Well all stop at a big pull off to grill & chill. We're going to bring coolers and food, if anyone wants to chip in that'd be appreciated. Make sure to invite everyone you know!

67 people have already joined VIA facebook! anyone in the DC, MD, VA, PA, WVA, NC area bring it! lots of fun and amazing scenery!!!!

  2. Thanks for the info, called Steve and he said it would cost me about $1,100, which is not bad.

The only confusion is he doesn't use djm he uses McGaughys, he said it's better and I mentioned about the control arms he said, the reason he doesn't use them is cause they ride like s???. He uses spindles.

He said trust me, can anyone give me more feedback on the difference or is it just preference?

    Thanks,

i have heard that as well.. everyone says mcgaughys and they do spindles..smoother ride

  3. the kit i listed is a proven set up by many here that I have bought from me.

im looking into mcgaughy's but ive heard good things about these as well.. still debating!

Do you have someone that's going to do the drop for you? I'm in California and I'm going to do my ss too with the 3/4 drop. I just don't know where to take it, I don't want anyone just to do it and treat it like a regular silverado.. Maybe if there's anyone out there that can recommend someone or shop that can do this work for us, that would be awesome.

First I need to get the drop kit from norcalss, with bearings and shocks. Just waiting on my tax check to arrive.

Yeah that truck really looks good with stock ss 20's.. That's making me do it now 100%.

i live in VA bro sorry im on the other side of the country but i do have someone that will do the install.. just like you im just waiting to pay these bills off, **** the old lady right and order them without having any testicles removed haha

  4. Hey guys! Im almost desperate at this point to find a new cladding. Door pins went bad in mine and it caught the fender and tore it up. Dealer wants wayyy to much (go figure) so if anyone knows anyone that has a piece laying around let me know!!

Not picky on color im about to start prepping it in a month or so for new paint

  5. It does it in grass sometimes as well but its hard to tell considering most the time your in grass its never a smooth surface. Ive checked out everything i could think of. Id rather avoid a proffessional because most of the time they will look for an issue thats not even there just to make some $$$.. i was planning on getting snow tires anyway so im going to try that and see what happens!

Thanks for all the help guys i will let you know the outcome in a week or so when i get tires
