I was wondering what my truck should run in a 1/4. 138,000 miles with CAI other than that pretty stop except magnaflow dual in dual out and airbags lol

Shiny black haha. The only that paints around here said it'd be anywhere between 300-600 so I might just have to leave the stock one on until I can pay for it to be painted

[Cold Air Intake]

It wont add much without the truck being tuned. You will gain more HP with other modifications than just the Cold Air intake. You will benefit more if you have say exhaust, intake manifold etc. The more you can get into the motor and the faster you can get it out is what makes Power.

 

It is a good mod to do even stock as it lets more air in, it will even help a little with gas mileage. My guess would be less than 10 HP with just the cold air setup.

It's stock right now but hopefully ill get to do the exhaust and headers this year. Ill probably try and do this soon but had to pay $160 to get the ac in the truck fixed

Don't get it twisted. Lol. Gearing alters your maximum given speed. Generally speaking going to higher gears would make you slower but also depends on the application as a turbo vehicle would benefit from the load.

Lol heard that but would changing it to a 3.73 make 1/4 times better or worse? I know it adds top end speed but takes away from acceleration

I'd go with some Dynatechs or something like that you being in Va. Personally for the price my pacesetters have paid for themselves many times over.

Was messing around town with a couple of friends when a newer eclipse pulled up at a stop light. He thought his eclipse was gona out run my ss so I had to show him who's boss ha. First kill with my SS!
