  1. I knew some guys back in Florida that could make practically anything out of fiberglass. Mind you fiberglass guys in coastal Florida are dime a dozen, because of so much boat work, but these two were amazing. They built bodies at my brother's hot rod shop, and they had fit-and-finish that pretty much equaled factory steel bodywork.

Wish I was still in touch with those guys, and could get them an OEM wing to copy (without having to risk sending mine cross country.) They'd have been able to do a good job of it. Dunno at what cost, though.

    Richard

I would definitely buy one from them if you say they are good as they are with fiberglass. Maybe look up the shop or hit up your brother for a contact. In the end they would make a killing from all the post I've seen and the demand of the ISS spoiler.

  2. Avoid the Fiberglass ones Oem was Polyurethane I've seen aftermarket ones made with the Polyurethane material but I haven't seen anyone use them yet but if I was to try and get something that works I'd try those and use Carl's mount kit from the search on here you can find Post he has made to source the mount kit I used his mount kit on an Oem Spoiler I found years ago that are Long Gone by NOW.

I went through the Hassle of a fiberglass one that was COMPLETE GARBAGE before I spent a month calling what seemed like every part supplier to find a Oem Spoiler and back then the guy I ordered it from had said I was lucky because that was the last one they would EVER get.

    Good Luck with your Search

Thank you for the advice. You're absolutely right about the fiberglass spoilers. A buddy of mine ordered one off eBay and it came warped. I'll keep my hopes up, eventually one is bound to come up in the forums.

  3. Kills me when I see the lawn guy's work truck in my neighborhood that has an old Intimidator tailgate on it. Emblem/script still there, even the cladding strip, but of course the wing is long gone. I call his truck the Impersonator SS. :) He obviously just scored the tailgate in the boneyard, where an Inimidator once met its end...

Irony: pic taken while driving my Intimidator, which I had to buy a replacement tailgate for, and add the emblem, script, and new cladding strip. Fortunately my wing wasn't destroyed when the truck was crashed.

Wow! I don't think the owner understands how lucky he got with finding that tailgate.

  4. Exactly what the title says. I'm looking to purchase an ISS spoiler. Personally I don't care if it's OEM or not, but if it's an aftermarket I would like to see pictures. On the other hand if you know where I can purchase one (i.e. eBay or a 3rd party seller) please let me know with any reviews you have for the spoiler. Thank you.

  5. Thanks to all who replied. I finally found someone who can transport my truck. Only $325! Got lucky that my friend knew someone who was picking up a vehicle in Delaware and was able to squeeze in the Maryland trip into their schedule.

  6. Never heard of them but that's cheap IMO. An actual tow truck would charge much more, no economy of scale where they can build a multi vehicle load. Before I saw your reply I was ready to comment you need a transport company. Many of them simply are brokers for a number of indie transporters, but at that price I wouldn't think they are making much. Most of them send out a flatbed to collect at origin point and then it gets dropped at a lot until transport can get there. Need to be sure that price includes door to door since it's inoperable, and that they understand it's inoperable. They can handle it but it does usually raise the price a bit. Richard

I'm having a hard time finding a reliable Auto Transport service. The one my buddy suggested was shady as hell. Still looking around and thinking over my options.

  7. Wish I could, but I'm deployed and am not physically with the vehicle. Close friends of mine are taking care of the vehicle and have made it possible to be moved to Fayetteville, NC from Spring Hill, FL. That's the farthest I'm able to get it with the resources I have.

  8. Long story short. My truck is inoperable and currently in Fayetteville, NC. I need the truck towed to Maryland and looking for a tow service that will not charge me an arm and a leg. Please reply below.

  9. I'm Texas born but currently in Fort Bragg because of the Army. To tell you the truth I invested to much time and money on my truck to let it go. That's why when I got bumped this morning I got out of my truck with anger on my face. Come to find out it was a person I work with. Also, just reenlisted and spent my whole bonus on fixing her up. She holds a special place in my heart.

  10. This morning I got rear ended by a coworker of mine on the way to work. I got a quote from the dealership and they assessed the damage for $1800 including labor. Now mind you the hit was minuscule. Since I'm not trying to screw my buddy over, I want to go a different route and get a roll pan which would be cost efficient. I'm looking for a roll pan that was selling like hot cakes here in the forums. I've contacted the person who created them but haven't received a reply. If anyone can help with this ordeal it would be much appreciated.

Btw my truck is a 2003 SS AWD

Below is a picture of the hit. Spoke to several body shops and they keep reiterating that the metal bumper underneath the bumper cover is bended downwards. Getting the roll pan would completely fixed the issue because I won't have a need for one at all.

  11. USEFUL: if you are military and interested in getting the armor lock wheel locks contact them via email and theyll send you a code to put in, instead of paying $149+ shipping youll get them for $75 and free shipping, not sure if theyll do it for first responders/leo, worth a shot

Is the offer still going on? I'm originally from Houston and serve in the Army. I know SS theft all to well especially for center caps and air ducts. I will soon be moving back home and wheel locks seem like good place to start.

  12. Like the title says I have a new sound system but have ran into some issues. First, when I pair my phone to my head unit it doesn't play thru the sub. I'm not sure if this issue is internal or has something to do with the way the system was set up. And finally, I'm running into the same issue with playing CDs straight from the unit. Anyone have suggestions on what could be the issue? If it would help I will state the exact equipment that's installed

  13. Those wheels look alot like the Dub Baller rim. I am a fan, but its hard to beat the look of a 22" rep if you like the wheels that you already have. Just my 2¢.

yeah they do that's why I like them plus they have a slight chrome running down the spokes.

Those wheels aren't to bad. Def don't go over a 22" I prefer 20" on the SS. There are tons of wheels out there. If I had money I go with a billet wheel. Something light. Depends on how low you are and with of the wheel for the tire. I run 305/50/20's and prefer that size.

my truck is sitting at a 3/4 drop
