  1. I just had a set of VisionX Optimus Duals installed in the front bumper scoops of my 04SS! These lights are awesome build quality and really put out some light for 20 watts each! Turn these on with HID headlamps and driving at night is like driving in daylight! I had my local AutoTrim store do the install for a couple hundred, but you could probably do the installation yourself! See pics below! Awesome!

  2. Just replaced mine! You Should buy both the seat bottom and the back since it is hard to know which one has gone bad! I got mine on EBay! The bottom was Dorman p/n 641-105 and the seat back was p/n 641-106. It was about $130 for both! The aftermarket ones have been improved so they won't burn up as easy! It's really pretty easy to replace them, might take you 2-3 hours if you've never done them! Or you could have local upholstery shop do them for around $100-150.

  3. If you already have the headrest he charges $25/ea for the front and $20/ea for the back plus shipping to and from Alabama! He accepts credit cards and PayPal. I couldn't believe he could do them that cheap! Please note that he can not embroider over the stock SS headrest! He needs blank ones that are available from GM Parts Now for $100/ea that includes the headrest frame and new dark pewter leather covers! Also, he can not do the tilting type headrests! Any questions just contact him! He can order the correct ones for you! I just sent him my back ones! It cost me $320 for everything but shipping cost was more to Alaska! Well worth it, got lots of nice compliments! ?

  4. My 04SS had the same problem! The heater would shut down after about 5 seconds on the drivers side only! Bought both the bottom and seatback replacement heater elements on EBay from APDTY(AutoPartsDirectToYou)! Had them installed at local custom shop for about $125 and they work better than originals! Don't be surprised if you see a few burn marks when you remove the old ones! The Dorman Part numbers are 641-105 for the bottom and 641-106 for the seat back! I would replace both as a set! Hope this helps! Craig
